Bracket - Fascia to Fender - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Press the brake pedal to turn on the drive rails.
  2. On the vehicle touchscreen, set the air suspension ride height to “Very High.”

  3. On the vehicle touchscreen, set the suspension into "Jack Mode."

  4. Turn the steering wheel fully to the right.
  5. Remove LH front fender garnish. See Garnish - Fender - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the screw that attaches the LH front of fascia to the fender.
    1.5 Nm (1.1 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 bit
  7. Release the tabs (x3) that attach the LH side of the front fascia to the fender.
  8. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH front side of the fascia to fender bracket.
    4.7 Nm (3.5 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  9. Release the tabs (x4) that attach the LH fascia to fender bracket.

Install

  1. Secure the LH fascia to fender bracket with tabs (x4).

    Note
    Verify that the tabs are fully engaged.
  2. Install the bolt that attaches the LH fascia to fender bracket.
    4.7 Nm (3.5 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  3. Secure the LH side of the front fascia to fender with tabs (x3),
  4. Install the screw that attaches the LH front of fascia to the fender.
    1.5 Nm (1.1 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 bit
  5. Install the LH front fender garnish. See Garnish - Fender - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. On the vehicle touchscreen, remove the air suspension from "Jack Mode."

  7. On the vehicle touchscreen, set the air suspension ride height to "Medium".
