Cushion - Seat - 3rd Row (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Remove the trunk rear load floor.
  3. Remove the trunk tub floor insulator.
  4. Slide the trunk carpet off of the anchors, and then remove the carpet from the vehicle.
  5. Release the clips (x4) that attach the 3rd row seat harness trays to the 3rd row seat frame.
  6. Release the tab and slide the 3rd row seat cushion connectors (x4) off the 3rd row harness trays, and then disconnect the electrical harness from the connectors.
  7. Push down on the 3rd row seat cushion, feel for the (2x) rocket clips, release the clips, and then lift and support the seat cushion.

    CAUTION
    Do not strain the electrical harness on the underside of the cushion.
  8. Disconnect the electrical harness from the 3rd row seat cup holder connector.
  9. Release the clips (x3) that attach the electrical harness to the 3rd row seat cup holder, and set the electrical harness aside.
  10. Remove the 3rd row seat cushion from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Install the 3rd row seat cushion to the 3rd row seat frame.
  2. Fasten the clips (x3) that attach the electrical harness to the 3rd row seat cup holder.
  3. Connect the electrical harness to the 3rd row seat cup holder connector.
  4. Lower the front of the 3rd row seat cushion to the seat frame, making sure to engage the (2x) rocket clips.
  5. Connect the electrical harness to the 3rd row seat cushion connectors (x4), slide the connectors onto the 3rd row harness trays, and then fasten the tabs.
  6. Fasten the clips (x4) that attach the 3rd row seat harness trays to the 3rd row seat frame.
  7. Install the trunk carpet into the trunk, and then slide the carpet onto the anchors.
  8. Install the trunk tub floor insulator.
  9. Install the trunk rear load floor.
  10. Close the liftgate.
