Housing - Camera - Front Fascia (2025+) (Remove and Replace)

Note

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Place the vehicle in Service Mode by using the touchscreen. See Service Mode (Enable and Disable).
  3. Remove the screws (x2) that secure the front fascia camera cover.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
  4. Disconnect the front fascia camera connector and the nozzle.
  5. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the front fascia camera to the housing, and then remove the housing from the vehicle.

    • PH1 STUBBY PHILLIPS SCREWDRIVER

Install

  1. Install the screws (x2) that attach the front fascia camera to the housing.
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • SET, 1/2" CUT BIT. (78 PCS DOUBLE END MINI RATCHET)
    • Wiha Torque Screwdriver 0.8-5 Nm screwdriver (installation only)
  2. Connect the front fascia camera connector and connect the nozzle.
  3. Install the screws (x2) that secure the front fascia camera cover.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

    • Torx T20 socket
  4. Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).
  5. On the touchscreen, tap the Service Mode "wrench" (at the bottom of the touchscreen UI), and then tap Driver Assist > Cameras > Reset DAS.
  6. Locally connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  7. In Toolbox 3.0, perform the following steps.
    1. Click the Actions tab, type "Calibration Mode" into the search field, click PROC_DAS_X_ENTER-CALIBRATION-MODEvia Toolbox: (link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
    2. Click the Actions tab, type "fascia camera" into the search field, click PING-HTTP_DAS_FASCIA-CAMERA-SCRIPTvia Toolbox: (link), click Run, and allow the routine to complete.

      Note
      This routine also completes a firmware update for the camera.
    3. Click the Actions tab, type "Calibration Mode" into the search field, click PROC_DAS_X_EXIT-CALIBRATION-MODEvia Toolbox: (link)via Service Mode Plus: Driver Assist ➜ Cameras ➜ Exit Factory Calibration Mode, click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
  8. Disconnect the laptop.
  9. Exit Service Mode. See Service Mode (Enable and Disable).
  10. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
