Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (2025+) (Remove and Replace)

Note

Remove

  1. Remove the LH front door trim decor. See Decor Trim - Front Door - LH (2025+) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the service covers (x2).
  3. Remove the LH front door trim reflector. See Reflector - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the LH front door trim panel to the LH front door.

    Note
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 socket
  5. Release the clips (x10) that attach the LH front door trim panel to the LH front door, carefully pry open the LH front door panel to access the handle cable and connector, release the handle cable, release the connector lock and disconnect the electrical connector, and then remove the panel from the door.

    Note
    Replace any broken clips.

Replace

  1. Position the LH front door trim panel onto the LH front door, secure the release cable, connect the electrical connector and engage the connector lock, and then secure the clips (x10) that attach the panel to the door.
  2. Install the bolts (x4) that attach the LH front door trim panel to the LH front door.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 socket
  3. Install the service covers (x2).
  4. Install the LH front door trim reflector. See .
  5. Install the LH front door trim decor. See Decor - Trim - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Close the LH front door.
  7. Check the gap fitment of the LH front door trim decor to the IP decor.

  8. Remove the LH front door trim decor. See Reflector - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  9. Adjust the LH front door trim panel as needed.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Loosen the T30 fastener to make adjustments. Rotate the adjustment nut clockwise to close the gap or counter-clockwise to widen the gap. Torque the T30 fastener to lock the adjustment nut.

    • 18 mm socket
  10. Install the LH front door trim decor. See Decor Trim - Front Door - LH (2025+) (Remove and Replace).
  11. Redeploy the firmware. See Firmware Reinstall - Touchscreen.
  12. Measure the gap between LH front door decor and IP decor, refer to CVIS for current specs, and adjust if needed to meet standards.
