- 2024-03-19: Changed the steps of replacing with single seat track motor to steps of replacing with seat track motor bridge assembly.
Remove
- Remove the driver seat. See Seat Assembly - 1st Row - LH (Remove and Install).
- With assistance, place the driver seat on a protected surface so that the underside of the seat can be accessed.
- 
          Remove the screw that attaches the
            driver seat outboard side shield to the seat assembly.
          TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T20 socket
- 2 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench
 
- 
          Carefully release the clips (x7) that
            attach the driver seat outboard side shield to the seat assembly, but do not fully
            remove the side shield from the seat assembly.
          
- 
          Disconnect the electrical harness from
            the seat switch.
          
- 
          Release the safety lock, and then
            disconnect the LH lap pretensioner electrical connector.
          
- 
          Release the clip that attaches the
            driver seat harness to the RH side seat track.
          
- 
          Disconnect the driver seat left
            footwell LED electrical connector.
          
- 
          Disconnect the driver seat track motor
            electrical connector.
          
- 
          Release the clip that attaches the
            driver seat harness to the track bridge.
          
- 
          Remove and discard the outboard bolts
            (x2) that attach the seat track to the seat cushion frame.
          TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T50 socket
 
- 
          Pry up on the bridge track motor tab,
            and then slide the outboard seat track away to release it from the bridge motor.
          
- 
          Pry up on the tab, and then slide the
            track motor bridge away from the inboard track to release it.
          
Install
- 
          Install the track motor bridge into
            the inboard seat track.
          NoteThe track motor cable is keyed square and must be aligned with inboard track. Turn the cable by hand to align as needed. Slide the track motor bridge into the inboard track until it is fully seated.
- 
          Install the outboard seat track to the
            track motor bridge.
          NoteThe track motor cable is keyed square and must be aligned with outboard track. Turn the cable by hand to align as needed. Slide the outboard track into the track motor bridge until it is fully seated.
- 
          Install new outboard bolts (x2) that
            attach the seat track to the seat cushion frame. 23 Nm (17.0 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended: 23 Nm (17.0 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T50 socket
 
- 
          Connect the driver seat track motor
            electrical connector.
          
- 
          Fasten the clip that attaches the
            driver seat harness to the track bridge.
          
- 
          Connect the driver seat left footwell
            LED electrical connector.
          
- 
          Fasten the clip that attaches the
            driver seat harness to the RH side seat track.
          
- 
          Connect the LH lap pretensioner
            electrical connector, and then secure the safety lock.
          
- 
          Connect the electrical harness to the
            back rest and cushion adjust switch assembly, and then verify the functions of the seat
            switches.
          
- 
          Position the driver seat outboard side
            shield onto the seat, and then install the clips (x7) that attach the side shield to the
            seat.
          TIpApply pressure to the side shield to fully seat the clips. The side shield should sit flush against the seat cushion.
- 
          Install the screw that attaches the
            driver seat outboard side shield to the seat assembly. 4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended: 4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T20 socket
- 2 in extension
- Ratchet/torque wrench
 
- Install the driver seat. See Seat Assembly - 1st Row - LH (Remove and Install).
- Perform a seat calibration. See Seat - 1st Row (Calibration).
- Raise the LH windows and close the LH doors.
