Air Line - Valve Block Intake/Exhaust - Air Suspension (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle on a 2 post lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  3. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the LH and RH underhood aprons. See Underhood Apron - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the front underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Front (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the underhood storage unit access panel. See Underhood Storage Unit Access Panel (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install).
  8. Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  9. Remove the front fascia. See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install).
  10. Raise the vehicle to a comfortable working height. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  11. Release the clip that attaches the intake valve to the body.
  12. Remove and discard the nylon nuts (x3) that attach the air suspension compressor bracket to the body.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket

    Note
    Discard the nylon nuts after removal.
  13. Move the air compressor bracket aside, and then release the clip for the air suspension intake line.

    Studs (x3)
  14. Release the hose clip for the air line, and then remove the air line for the vehicle.

Install

  1. Position the air line into the vehicle, and then secure the air line hose clip onto the air suspension compressor.
  2. Fasten the clip that attaches the air line, and then position the air compressor bracket onto the body.

  3. Install new nylon nuts (x3) that attach the air suspension compressor bracket to the body.
    5 Nm (3.7 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Install new nylon nuts.
  4. Fasten the clip that attaches the intake valve to the body.
  5. Install the front fascia. See Fascia Assembly - Front (Remove and Install).
  6. Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  7. Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install).
  8. Install the underhood storage unit access panel. See Underhood Storage Unit Access Panel (Remove and Replace).
  9. Install the front underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Front (Remove and Replace).
  10. Install the LH and RH underhood aprons. See Underhood Apron - LH (Remove and Replace).
  11. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  12. Calibrate the rear doors.

    Note
    If the "Calibration Needed" message appears on the vehicle touchscreen, touch and hold Calibrate to calibrate the rear doors.
  13. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
