Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Raise and support the vehicle on a 2 post lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  3. Release the LH park brake caliper through Toolbox. See Park Brake Caliper - Release.
  4. Remove the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  5. Remove the LH rear hub. See Hub - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the bolts (x3) that attach the LH rear brake shield to the knuckle, and then remove the shield from the vehicle.
    8 Nm (5.9 lbs-ft)

    • Torx T30 socket

Install

  1. Install the bolts (x3) that attach the LH rear brake shield to the knuckle.
    8 Nm (5.9 lbs-ft)

  2. Install the LH rear hub. See Hub - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Install the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
  4. Hold the brake pedal and shift into Park on the touchscreen to disable EPB service mode.
