Actuator - Pitch Latch - 2nd Row Seat - LH (6 Seat) (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the front windows.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Move the driver seat forward.
- Open the LH falcon wing door.
- Move the LH 2nd row seat forward.
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).

Release the clips (x11) that attach
the LH 2nd row seat seat back cover to the seat assembly, disconnect the electrical
connector, and then remove the seat back cover from the seat assembly.
CAUTIONBe careful not to damage the switch harness. Do not remove the trim from the seat assembly until the connector has been disconnected.NoteStart from the top portion of trim and work downward.

Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat OBSB
heat pad electrical connector, and then release the clip that attaches the connector to
the seat assembly.

Release the Velcro strips (x3) that
attach the lower front side of the seat back trim to the seat assembly.
NoteHold the cover up for access.

Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat pitch
latch actuator electrical connector.
NoteRelease the tabs (x2) from both sides of the connector to disconnect.

Release the LH 2nd row seat pitch
latch actuator cable from the cable bracket and actuator.

Remove the screws (x3) that attach the
LH 2nd row seat pitch latch actuator to the seat assembly, and then remove the actuator
from the assembly.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket
Install

Position the LH 2nd row seat pitch latch actuator into the seat assembly, and then
install the screws (x3) that attach the actuator to the seat assembly.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T25 socket

Install the LH 2nd row seat pitch latch actuator cable into the cable bracket and
actuator.

Connect the LH 2nd row seat pitch latch actuator electrical connector.

Position the lower front side of the
seat back trim onto the seat frame and secure the Velcro strips (x3).
-
Position the LH 2nd row seat OBSB heat pad electrical connector onto the seat back
assembly, secure the clip that attaches the connector to the seat assembly, and then
connect the connector.

Position the LH 2nd row seat seat back cover onto the seat assembly, connect the
electrical connector, and then secure the clips (x11) that attach the seat back cover to
the seat assembly.
NoteAlign the lower datums and side tabs along the seat assembly, and then engage the clips fully.
- Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Close the hood.

Calibrate the rear doors.
NoteIf the "Calibration Needed" message appears on the vehicle touchscreen, touch and hold Calibrate to calibrate the rear doors
- Move the LH 2nd row seat to the original position.
- Move driver seat to the original position.
- Connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle.
- In Toolbox, click the Actions tab, and then search for "BCS2L".

Click PROC_BCS2L_R2-L_CALIBRATE-S2L-PITCHvia Toolbox: (link), and then click Run and allow the routine
to complete.
NoteClick the X at the top right corner of the window to close once complete.

Click PROC_BCS2L_R2-L_CALIBRATE-S2L-TRACKvia Toolbox: (link), and then click Run and allow the routine
to complete.

- Disconnect Toolbox and remove the laptop from the vehicle.
- Raise the front windows and close the LH front door.
