Harness - Chassis - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
- Remove the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).

Release the connector lock, and then
disconnect the LH EPB electrical connector from the LH caliper motor.

Disconnect the subframe harness
electrical connectors (x2) from the LH rear active damper, and then release the grommet
that attaches the harness to the vehicle.

Release the clip that attaches the LH
rear chassis harness to the LH rear knuckle.

Remove the bolt that attaches the
speed sensor to the LH rear knuckle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T30 socket

Release the connector lock, and then
disconnect the LH rear ANC sensor electrical connector.
NoteDisengage the red locking tab, and then push down on black tab to release the connector lock.

Release the clips (x3) that attach the
LH rear chassis harness to the harness guide.

Release the clip that attaches the LH
rear chassis harness to the LH lower control arm bracket.

Remove the bolts (x2) and release the
clips (x3) that attach the rear portion of the LH rear wheel arch liner to the vehicle,
and then move the liner aside.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 5 mm socket

Release the clips that attach the LH
rear chassis harness to the subframe and body.

Release the connector lock, disconnect
the electrical connector, and then remove the LH rear chassis harness from the
vehicle.
NoteTake note of the original routing for installation.
Install

Position the LH rear chassis harness into the vehicle, connect the electrical
connector, and then secure the connector lock.
NoteMake sure to route the harness to the original locations.

Secure the clips that attach the LH rear chassis harness to the subframe and
body.

Install the bolts (x2) and secure the clips (x3) that attach the rear portion of the
LH rear wheel arch liner to the vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 5 mm socket

Secure the clip that attaches the LH rear chassis harness to the LH lower control arm
bracket.

Secure the clips (x3) that attach the LH rear chassis harness to the harness
guide.

Connect the LH rear ANC sensor electrical connector, and then secure the locking
tab.

Position the speed sensor to the LH rear knuckle, and then install the bolt that
attaches the sensor to the knuckle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T30 socket

Secure the clip that attaches the LH rear chassis harness to the LH rear
knuckle.

Install the grommet that attaches the LH rear chassis harness to the LH rear active
damper, and then connect the subframe harness electrical connectors (x2).

Connect the LH EPB electrical connector to the LH caliper motor, and then secure the
connector lock.
- Install the LH rear wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
- Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
