Harness - USB - 3rd Row (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH falcon wing door.
  2. Open the liftgate.
  3. Fold the 2nd row 40 and 60 seats downward.
  4. Remove the rear trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the rear trunk floor NVH insulator. See NVH Insulator - Floor - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the rear trunk carpet. See Carpet - Rear Trunk (7 Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the 3rd row seat cushion. See Cushion - Seat - 3rd Row (Remove and Replace).
  8. Disconnect the 3rd row USB harness electrical connector.

    Note
    Pull up to disengage the lock, and then pull again to release the connector.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Pocket screwdriver
  9. Release the fir tree clips (x4) that attach the 3rd row USB harness to the seat cushion, and then remove the harness from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Position the new 3rd row USB harness on the vehicle, and then install the fir tree clips (x4) that attach the harness to the seat cushion.
  2. Connect the 3rd row USB harness electrical connector.
  3. Install the 3rd row seat cushion. See Cushion - Seat - 3rd Row (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the rear trunk carpet. See Carpet - Rear Trunk (7 Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the rear trunk floor NVH insulator. See NVH Insulator - Floor - Rear Trunk (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the rear trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  7. Close the liftgate.
  8. Unfold the 2nd row 40 and 60 seats into original position.
  9. Close the LH falcon wing door.
