Fender Garnish and Wheel Fairing Assembly - Front - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

HW3 vehicles only: Remove the clips (x2) that attach the front lower portion of the
LH front wheel arch liner to the vehicle, and then move the liner away from LH front
fender garnish.
NoteThis will allow access to remove the lower garnish bolts.

HW4 vehicles only: Remove the clips (x3) and bolt that attach the LH front wheel
liner to the valence, and then move the liner away from the LH front fender
garnish.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- T30 socket

Remove the bolts (x2) and release the
tab that attach the LH front fender garnish to the vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

Starting from the rear, release the
clips (x5) and tabs (x9) that attach the LH front fender garnish and fairing assembly to
the vehicle, disconnect the electrical connector, and then remove the garnish and
fairing assembly from the vehicle.
NoteRelease the connector lock before disconnecting the electrical connector.CAUTIONHW4 vehicles do not have an ultrasonic sensor on the fender garnish. Be careful not to damage the dummy plug during removal.
Install

Position the LH front fender garnish
and fairing assembly onto the vehicle, connect the electrical connector and engage the
connector lock, and then secure the clips (x5) and tabs (x9) that attach the garnish and
fairing assembly to the vehicle.
NoteAlign the ducting into garnish; the leading clips will not fully engage if the ducting is not correctly aligned.

Install the bolts (x2) and secure the
tab that attach the LH front fender garnish and fairing assembly to the vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket

HW3 vehicles only: Maneuver the front portion of the LH front wheel arch liner into
position, and then install the clips (x2).

HW4 vehicles only: Maneuver the front portion of the LH front wheel arch liner into
position, and then install the clips (x3) and bolt.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
