Seal - Door - Charge Port (Retrofit)

Retrofit

  1. Open the charge port door.
  2. Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  3. Clean the inside of the charge port door using IPA wipes, and allow 1 minute to dry.
  4. For Europe and China, apply a label to the charge port door seal if one was present on the inside of the charge port door.
    • For Europe: apply adhesive promotor (1021050-00-A) to the location on the seal where the label is to be applied, and then apply the CKL charging identifier label (1691926-00-B) to the seal.
    • For China: apply adhesive promotor (1021050-00-A) to the location on the seal where the label is to be applied, and then apply the High Voltage warning label (1817193-00-A) to the seal.

  5. Remove the plastic from the adhesive on the charge port door seal, and then align the seal with the rubber bump stops on the charge port door.
  6. Press the seal onto the charge port door, working from the bump stops towards the hinge.
  7. Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  8. Close the charge port door.
