Bracket - Center Console (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open all four doors.
  2. Lower the LH and RH front windows.
  3. Move the LH front seat forward.
  4. Release the LH front seat belt.

    Note
    Turn the release mechanism counter clockwise, and then turn back clockwise after releasing.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Flat head screwdriver
  5. Remove the LH front sill panel trim. See Trim - Sill Panel - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the LH rear sill panel trim. See Trim - Sill Panel - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Move the RH front seat forward.
  8. Release the RH front seat belt.

  9. Remove the RH front sill panel trim. See Trim - Sill Panel - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  10. Remove the RH rear sill panel trim. See Trim - Sill Panel - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  11. Remove the LH 1st row seat assembly. See Seat Assembly - 1st Row - LH (Remove and Install).
  12. Remove the RH 1st row seat assembly. See Seat Assembly - 1st Row - RH (Remove and Install).
  13. Remove the 1st row center console assembly. See Center Console Assembly - 1st Row (Remove and Install).
  14. Remove the driver and passenger seat outer risers. See Riser - Outer - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
  15. Release the clips (x2) that attach the LH front seat harness to the inner seat riser.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Clip pry tool
  16. Release the clips (x2) that attach the RH front seat harness to the inner seat riser.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Clip pry tool
  17. Release the brush clip that attaches the center console HVAC duct to the vehicle, and then remove the duct from the vehicle.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Clip pry tool
  18. Remove the 1st row podium. See Podium - 1st Row (Remove and Replace).
  19. Remove the 2nd row front floor panel. See Floor Panel - Front - 2nd Row (6 Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  20. Remove the 2nd row floor mat. See Floor Mat - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  21. Remove the 2nd row mid floor panel. See Floor Panel - Mid - 2nd Row (6 Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  22. Remove the bolts (x4) that attach the center console bracket to the vehicle, and then remove the bracket from the vehicle.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 4 in extension
    • 10 mm socket
    • Ratchet/torque wrench

Install

  1. Position the center console bracket on the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x4) that attach the bracket to the vehicle.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 4 in extension
    • 10 mm socket
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  2. Install the 2nd row front floor panel. See Floor Panel - Front - 2nd Row (6 Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  3. Install the 2nd row mid floor panel. See Floor Panel - Mid - 2nd Row (6 Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the 2nd row floor mat. See Floor Mat - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the 1st row podium. See Podium - 1st Row (Remove and Replace).
  6. Position the center console HVAC duct on the vehicle, and then install the brush clip that attaches the duct to the vehicle.

    Note
    Slide the duct into the HVAC assembly and ensure the duct is fully seated.
  7. Install the clips (x2) that attach the LH front seat harness to the inner seat riser.
  8. Install the clips (x2) that attach the RH front seat harness to the inner seat riser.
  9. Install the driver and passenger seat outer risers. See Riser - Outer - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
  10. Install the 1st row center console assembly. See Center Console Assembly - 1st Row (Remove and Install).
  11. Install the RH 1st row seat assembly. See Seat Assembly - 1st Row - RH (Remove and Install).
  12. Install the LH 1st row seat assembly. See Seat Assembly - 1st Row - LH (Remove and Install).
  13. Install the LH and RH rear sill panel trims. See Trim - Sill Panel - Rear - LH (Remove and Replace).
  14. Install the LH and RH front sill panel trims. See Trim - Sill Panel - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  15. Calibrate the rear doors.

    Note
    If the "Calibration Needed" message appears on the vehicle touchscreen, touch and hold Calibrate to calibrate the rear doors.
  16. Move the LH and RH front seats to original position.
  17. Raise the LH and RH front windows.
  18. Close the LH and RH front doors.
