1. Open LH front door
2. Lower LH front window
3. Release IP service panel
   Note

   2x tabs, 4x datums, Release top tabs and slide rearward

   

   

   

4. Using laptop connect to vehicle with ethernet diag kit and Toolbox 3
5. Select ‘Actions’ tab and search for ‘TAS service mode’
6. Select ‘ TAS Enter Service Run ModePROC_TAS_X_ENTER-SERVICE-MODECommon/tasks/PROC_TAS_X_ENTER-SERVICE-MODEChassis ’, click ‘Run’, and allow routine to complete
   Note

   Select ‘X’ at top right of window to close oncecomplete
7. Select ‘Actions’ tab and search for ‘Deflate’
8. Select ‘ PROC_TAS_X_DEFLATE-RESERVOIR ’, click ‘Run’, and allow routine to complete
   Note

   Select ‘X’ at top right of window to close oncecomplete
9. Open hood
   Note

   Via center display > Controls > Frunk Open
10. Remove rear underhood apron
    Note

    11x clips, 2x datums

    

    

11. Remove Schrader valve cap from air reservoir
    Note

    1x cap

    

12. Release residual air from air reservoir
    Note

    Press down on the valve to deflate completely

    

13. Install Schrader valve cap onto air reservoir
    Note

    1x cap

    

14. Remove cable tie securing air lines to RH shock tower
    Note

    1x cable tie, Be careful not to puncture lines

    

    

    

    

15. Mark fill valve retrofit location onto black air suspension line between compressor and auxiliary reservoir
    Note

    Reach under cowl and verify line is RH line on auxiliary reservoir, Hold valve up to line and mark center point

    

    

    

16. Cut black air suspension line between compressor and auxiliary reservoir
    Note

    Warning: High pressure air line, Failure to deflate system could lead to personal injury, Be sure to wear proper PPE

    

    

    

    

17. Remove plugs from fill valve

    

18. Install fill valve onto black air suspension line between compressor and auxiliary reservoir
    Note

    Fully push air line into fitting and give a slight pull to confirm line is fully engaged

    

19. Secure fill valve and air lines to clip at RH shock tower
    Note

    2x cable ties, Secure properly to prevent NVH

    

    

20. Remove cap from fill valve

    

    

21. Set up nitrogen tank kit to fill reservoir
    Note

    Verify valves are set to the closed position on the tank, regulator and the air line

    

    

    

22. Placeholder - Install nitrogen kit air line onto fill valve
    Note

    Verify valve on air line is closed before installing

    

23. Open valve on nitrogen tank and set pressure to 18 bar using regulator
    Note

    Slowly open valve and adjust regulator, Verify pressure is set to 18 bar

    

    

24. Placeholder - Gradually open valve on nitrogen kit fill hose
    Note

    Allow time for pressure to stabilize equally between Nitrogen set pressure and vehicle reservoir

    

25. Verify pressure holds on the regulator valve gauge
    Note

    18 bar, If pressure does not hold then there may be a leak present

    

26. Select ‘Actions’ tab and search for ‘TAS service mode’
27. Select ‘ TAS Enter Normal Run ModePROC_TAS_X_ENTER-NORMAL-MODECommon/tasks/PROC_TAS_X_ENTER-NORMAL-MODEChassis ’, click ‘Run’, and allow routine to complete
    Note

    Select ‘X’ at top right of window to close once complete
28. Set vehicle ride height to Very Low
    Note

    Via center display > Controls > Suspension > Very Low, Perform during nitrogen fill to purge water out of air suspension system and fully charge reservoir
29. Set vehicle ride height to Very High
    Note

    Via center display > Controls > Suspension > Very High, Perform during nitrogen fill to purge water out of air suspension system and fully charge reservoir
30. Set vehicle ride height to Medium
    Note

    Via center display > Controls > Suspension > Medium, Perform during nitrogen fill to purge water out of air suspension system and fully charge reservoir
31. Close valve on the nitrogen tank
    Note

    Do not close regulator

    

32. Verify pressure holds on the regulator valve gauge
    Note

    18 bar, If pressure does not hold then there may be a leak present

    

33. Placeholder - Close valve on nitrogen kit fill hose

    

34. Placeholder - Remove nitrogen kit fill hose from valve
    Note

    Lift up on lock and release line from valve

    

35. Close the pressure regulator valve on the nitrogen tank to release the line pressure in the lines

    

36. Install cap onto fill valve

    

37. Install rear underhood apron
    Note

    11x clips, 2x datums

    

    

38. Close hood
39. Disconnect Toolbox 3 from vehicle and remove laptop and ethernet diag kit
    Note

    If RJ45 ethernet diagnostic connector present media converter box not required. Disconnect directly from laptop using an RJ45 Ethernet cable
40. Install IP service panel
    Note

    2x tabs, 4 datums, Slide forward engaging datums then secure tabs upward into IP

    

    

41. Raise LH front window
42. Close LH front door
