Remove

Remove the upper camera cover. See
Upper Cover - Rear View Mirror (Remove and Replace).
NoteRemoving the upper camera cover also removes the interior camera.
Install

Enable Service Mode. See Service Mode (Enable and Disable).
CAUTIONTo prevent potential damage to the replacement camera, Service Mode must be enabled prior to connecting the camera.

Reset the Driver Assistance
System (DAS).

HW4 cameras only: Run the camera
connection test to update the new camera's firmware.
NoteDAS Cameras are not CAN modules and cannot be updated via firmware reinstall or "Part Replacement Deploy".
