Sensor - Air Temperature - Floor Duct - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the RH front door and lower the RH front window.
  2. Move the front passenger seat rearward.
  3. Remove the RH front floor mat.
  4. Remove the passenger footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Passenger (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the RH center console side panel carpet. See Carpet - Side Panel - Center Console - LH (Remove and Replace)
  6. Disconnect the 2nd row floor duct air temperature sensor electrical connector, and then remove the sensor from the HVAC assembly.

    Note
    Pry the sensor straight out of HVAC case.

Install

  1. Install the 2nd row floor duct air temperature sensor into the HVAC assembly, and then connect the electrical connector.

    Insert the sensor by hand.

    Note
    Make sure the sensor is fully seated into the HVAC case.
  2. Install the RH center console side panel carpet. See Carpet - Side Panel - Center Console - LH (Remove and Replace)
  3. Install the passenger footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Passenger (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the RH front floor mat.
  5. Move the front passenger seat to the original position.
  6. Raise the RH front window and close the RH front door.
