Panel - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH front door trim decor. See Decor - Trim - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the LH front door trim reflector. See Reflector - Door Trim - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
  3. Remove the service covers (x2), and then remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH front door trim panel to the LH front door.

    Note
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T30 socket
  4. Release the clips (x10) that attach the LH front door trim panel to the LH front door to access the release cable and connector, release the release cable, release the connector lock and disconnect the electrical connector, and then remove the panel from the door.

    Carefully pry open the LH front door trim panel to access the connector and release cable.

    Replace any broken clips.

Install

  1. Position the LH front door trim panel onto the LH front door, secure the release cable, connect the electrical connector and engage the connector lock, and then secure the clips (x10) that attach the panel to the door.
  2. Install the bolts (x2) that attach the LH front door trim panel to the LH front door, and then install the service covers (x2).
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)

  3. Install the LH front door trim reflector. See .
  4. Install the LH front door trim decor. See Decor - Trim - Front Door - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Close the LH front door.
