  • 2025-12-01: Released new procedure.
  • Isopropyl alcohol (minimum 70% concentration)
  1. Inspect the connector for any damage, pitting, or excessive corrosion.

    CAUTION
    If any of these conditions are present, replace the charger. Do not use a damaged charger.
  2. Unplug the charger.
  3. Spray isopropyl alcohol into the connector cavity while the connector is pointed down.
  4. Clean the connector cavity walls and pins with a non-metallic brush.
  5. Allow 1 minute for the isopropyl alcohol to dry. Inspect the connector and clean again as needed.
