Sensor - Crash Accelerometer - Front Bumper (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the front fascia. See Fascia Assembly - Front (HW3) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Release the locking tab, and then disconnect the LH front bumper crash accelerometer sensor connector.
  3. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH front bumper crash accelerometer sensor to the vehicle, and then remove the sensor from the vehicle.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket

Install

  1. Position the LH front bumper crash accelerometer sensor into the vehicle, and then install the bolt that attaches the sensor to the vehicle.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  2. Connect the LH front bumper crash accelerometer sensor connector, and then engage the connector lock.
  3. Install the front fascia. See Fascia Assembly - Front (HW3) (Remove and Replace).
