Ambient Light LED Module - Door Panel - Rear - LH (2025+) (Remove and Install)

Note
This procedure describes work that is specific to 2025+ Model X.

Remove

  1. Remove the LH rear door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Rear - LH (2025+) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Unhook the NVH pad from the locating tabs (x4) and remove it from the LH rear door panel.
  3. Disconnect the harness connectors (x2), release the harness from the guides, and then release the tabs and remove the rear LH ambient light LED module.

    Note
    Remove the felt tape, then carefully release the tabs and slide the LED module upwards.

Install

  1. Install the rear LH ambient light LED module and secure the tabs, and then secure the haness to the guides and connect the harness connectors (x2).

    Note
    Verify the module tabs are fully secured, and then re-apply the felt tape.
  2. Align the NVH pad with the door panel and hook the pad into the tabs (x4).
  3. Install the LH rear door trim panel. See Panel - Door Trim - Rear - LH (2025+) (Remove and Replace).
