Cover - Cushion - 3rd Row (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open all the doors and lower the front windows.
- Move the front seats forward.
- Move the 2nd row seats forward.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the rear trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the rear trunk carpet. See Carpet - Rear Trunk (7 Seat) (Remove and Replace).
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Remove the 3rd row seat cushion. See Cushion - Seat - 3rd Row (Remove and Replace).

Flip the 3rd row cushion over to
access the bottom side of the cushion.
NotePlace the cushion on a protected surface.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Fender cover - 115212-00-A

Release the tabs (x4) that attach the
3rd row cushion cover to the rear corners of cushion substrate.

Release the J-hooks (x2) that attach
the 3rd row cushion cover to the rear end of the cushion substrate.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Pick Miniature Soft Grip, 90 degree tip, 6 in

Feed the 3rd row cushion connectors
(x4) through the rear end of the cushion cover.

Release the J-hooks (x2) that attach
the 3rd row cushion cover to the cup holder.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Pick Miniature Soft Grip, 90 degree tip, 6 in

Release the J-hooks (x2) that attach
the 3rd row cushion cover to both sides of the 3rd row cushion substrate.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Pick Miniature Soft Grip, 90 degree tip, 6 in

Release the J-hooks (x2) that attach
the 3rd row cushion cover to the front end of the 3rd row cushion substrate.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Pick Miniature Soft Grip, 90 degree tip, 6 in

Flip the 3rd row cushion assembly to
access the top side.

Starting from the leading edge and
working towards the rear of the LH and RH seat cushions, remove the hog rings (x18) and
Velcro strips (x4) that attach the 3rd row cushion cover to the seat cushions.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Diagonal pliers

Remove the 3rd row cushion cover from
the LH and RH cushion foams.
Install

Position the new 3rd row cushion cover
on the LH and RH cushion foams.

Starting from the rear of the LH and
RH seat cushions and working towards the leading edge, install the hog rings (x18) and
Velcro strips (x4) that attach the 3rd row cushion cover to the seat cushions.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Hog ring pliers - 1501599-00-A

Flip the 3rd row cushion assembly to
access the bottom side.

Install the J-hooks (x2) that attach
the 3rd row cushion cover to the rear end of the cushion substrate.

Install the J-hooks (x2) that attach
the 3rd row cushion cover to both sides of the 3rd row cushion substrate.

Install the J-hooks (x2) that attach
the 3rd row cushion cover to the cup holder.

Feed the 3rd row cushion connectors
(x4) through the cushion cover.

Install the J-hooks (x2) that attach
the 3rd row cushion cover to the front end of the 3rd row cushion substrate.

Install the tabs (x4) that attach the
3rd row cushion cover to the rear corners of cushion substrate.

Flip the 3rd row cushion assembly to
access the topside, and then inspect for any fitment issues.
NoteIf issues are present, correct the trim fitment, and then proceed with the installation.
- Install the 3rd row seat cushion. See Cushion - Seat - 3rd Row (Remove and Replace).
- Install the rear trunk carpet. See Carpet - Rear Trunk (7 Seat) (Remove and Replace).
- Install the rear trunk load floor. See Trunk Load Floor - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Move all the seats to original positions.

Calibrate the rear doors.
NoteIf the "Calibration Needed" message appears on the vehicle touchscreen, touch and hold Calibrate to calibrate the rear doors
- Raise the front windows and close all the doors.
