Actuator - EZ Entry - 60 Track - 2nd Row Seat (7 Seat) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the LH 2nd row seat assembly from the vehicle. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (7 Seat) (Remove and Replace).
  2. Move the LH 2nd row seat backs to the upright position.
  3. Release the J-hooks (x6) that attach the rear toe kick to the LH 2nd row seat assembly.

    Note
    Release lower outer hooks (x2) to expose the inner clips (x4).
  4. Disconnect the 2nd row center seatbelt buckle electrical connector, and then release the edge clip that attaches the connector to the seat assembly.
  5. Remove and discard the bolt that attaches the 2nd row center seatbelt buckle to the seat assembly, and then remove the buckle from the seat assembly.
    45 Nm (33.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T50 socket
  6. Remove the LH 2nd row recliner lever. See Lever - Recliner - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Remove the LH 2nd row recliner cover. See Cover - Recliner - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  8. Remove the bolt that attaches the LH 2nd row outer seatbelt to the seat assembly, and then remove the seatbelt from the seat assembly.
    45 Nm (33.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T50 socket
  9. Release the J-hooks (x11) that attach the underside of the LH 2nd row seat upholstery to the seat assembly.
  10. Disconnect the LH 2nd row seat seat cushion electrical connectors (x4), and then release the clips (x2) that attach the black connectors (x2) to the seat frame.
  11. Remove the LH 2nd row seat cushion assembly from the seat assembly.

    CAUTION
    Use caution when feeding the J-hooks and connectors through the seat frame.
  12. Remove the screws (x3) that attach the inboard seat riser cover to the LH 2nd row inboard seat riser.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T20 socket
  13. Remove the screw that attaches the outboard seat riser cover to the LH 2nd row inboard seat riser.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T20 socket
  14. Release the clips (x2) that attach the outboard seat riser cover to the LH 2nd row inboard seat riser, and then remove the inboard and outboard covers from the seat riser.
  15. Repeat step 12 through step 14 for the 2nd row outboard seat riser.
  16. Remove the screw that attaches the splitter box to the LH 2nd row seat assembly.
    1.5 Nm (1.1 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T20 socket
  17. Remove the screw that attaches the splitter box spring to the LH 2nd row seat assembly.
    1.5 Nm (1.1 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T20 socket
  18. Remove the bolts (x5) that attach the front cushion support to the seat assembly, and then remove the support from the assembly.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  19. Release the actuator cable from the LH track.
  20. Release the actuator cable from the RH track.
  21. Release the actuator cables from the cable clips (x3).

    Note
    Do not remove the clip from the seat frame.
  22. Remove the bolt that attaches the 2nd row seat 60 track EZ entry actuator to the seat frame.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  23. Remove the 2nd row seat 60 track EZ entry actuator from seat frame.

    Note
    Turn 30 degrees to the right, and then push back to remove from the seat frame.
  24. Remove the 2nd row seat 60 track EZ entry actuator from the seat assembly.

Install

  1. Install the 2nd row seat 60 track EZ entry actuator to the actuator assembly.

    Note
    Do not remove the black pin before the actuator assembly cable is attached to the actuator.
  2. Install the actuator assembly onto the seat frame.

    Note
    Attach the actuator assembly onto the back tab, and then move forward and turn 30 degrees to latch on the second tab.
  3. Install the bolt that attaches the 2nd row seat 60 track EZ entry actuator to the seat frame.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  4. Secure the actuator cable to the RH track.
  5. Secure the actuator cable to the LH track.
  6. Install the actuator cables to the cable clips (x3).
  7. Install the bolts (x5) that attach the front cushion support to the seat assembly.
    6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  8. Install the screw that attaches the splitter box to the LH 2nd row seat assembly.
    1.5 Nm (1.1 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T20 socket
  9. Install the screw that attaches the splitter box spring to the LH 2nd row seat assembly.
    1.5 Nm (1.1 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T20 socket
  10. Position the inboard and outboard seat riser covers onto the LH 2nd row inboard seat riser, and then secure the clips (x2) that attach the inboard and outboard covers to the seat riser.
  11. Install the screws (x3) that attach the inboard seat riser cover to the LH 2nd row inboard seat riser.
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

    Note
    The top screw has a torque value of 4 Nm and the bottom screws (x2) have a torque value of 2 Nm.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T20 socket
  12. Install the screw that attaches the outboard seat riser cover to the LH 2nd row inboard seat riser.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • T20 socket
  13. Repeat step 10 through step 12 for the inboard seat riser.
  14. Install the LH 2nd row seat cushion assembly into the seat assembly.

    CAUTION
    Use caution when feeding the J-hooks and connectors through the seat frame.
  15. Secure the black connectors (x2) to the LH 2nd row seat frame, and then connect the electrical connectors (x4).
  16. Secure the J-hooks (x11) that attach the underside of the LH 2nd row seat upholstery to the seat assembly.
  17. Position the LH 2nd row outer seat belt to the seat assembly, and then install a new bolt that attaches seatbelt to the seat assembly.
    45 Nm (33.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T50 socket
  18. Install the LH 2nd row recliner cover. See Cover - Recliner - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  19. Install the LH 2nd row recliner lever. See Lever - Recliner - 2nd Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
  20. Position the 2nd row center seatbelt buckle onto the seat assembly, and then install a new bolt that attaches the buckle to the seat assembly.
    45 Nm (33.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T50 socket
  21. Secure the edge clip that attaches the 2nd row center seatbelt buckle electrical connector to the seat assembly, and then connect the connector.
  22. Secure toe kick to 60 seat assembly.

    Note
    6x J-hooks, Secure inner 4 clips, then lower outer 2.
  23. Fold LH 2nd row seat to the down position.
  24. Install the LH 2nd row seat assembly into the vehicle. See Seat Assembly - 2nd Row - LH (7 Seat) (Remove and Replace).

    It is not necessary to redeploy the vehicle firmware after installing the seat assembly.
