Camera - Rear Facing (HW3) (Remove and Replace)

NOTE: See Personal Protection to make sure proper PPE is worn when performing the below procedure.

  • 2026-08-26: Added step to clear camera calibration.

Remove

  1. Remove the liftgate applique. See Applique - Liftgate (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the lower liftgate trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  3. Disconnect the rear facing camera electrical connector from the RH liftgate harness.
  4. Release the rear facing camera grommet from the liftgate.
  5. Remove the liftgate applique bracket. See Bracket - Applique - Liftgate (Remove and Replace).
  6. Feed the rear facing camera electrical connector and grommet through the liftgate opening to remove it from the liftgate.

Install

  1. Feed the rear facing camera electrical connector and grommet seal through the liftgate opening to position it for installation.
  2. Install the rear facing camera grommet to the liftgate.
  3. Connect the rear facing camera electrical connector to the RH liftgate harness.
  4. Install the liftgate applique bracket. See Bracket - Applique - Liftgate (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the liftgate applique. See Applique - Liftgate (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the lower liftgate trim. See Trim - Liftgate - Lower (Remove and Replace).
  7. Run PROC_DAS_X_CLEAR-CALIBRATIONvia Service Mode:
    • Driver Assist ➜ Cameras ➜ Clear Camera Calibration
    • Driver Assist ➜ Driverless ➜ Clear Calibration
