Angled 12V Power Outlet - Center Console (2025+) (Remove and Install)

Note
This procedure describes work that is specific to 2025+ Model X.

Remove

  1. Remove the center console service panel. See Panel - Service - Center Console (Remove and Replace).

    Note
    No need to separate the USB hub from the service panel.
  2. Remove the clip from the 12V outlet connector.
  3. Release the tabs (x2) and remove the 12V outlet from the outlet bracket.

    Note
    Depress the tabs one at a time while applying pressure to the outlet. Make sure to preserve the locking tab.

Install

  1. Secure the tabs (x2) to install the 12V outlet to the outlet bracket.

    Note
    Remove the clip from the new outlet to maneuver the harness through the bracket. Verify both tabs are fully engaged.
  2. Secure the clip to the 12V outlet connector.
  3. Install the center console service panel. See Panel - Service - Center Console (Remove and Replace).
