Center Console Assembly (2025+) (Remove and Install)

Remove

  1. Remove the center console back panel. See Back Panel - Center Console (2025+) (Remove and Install).

    Note
    No need to separate the footwell lamp lens from the center console back panel.
  2. Remove the bolts (x2) that secure the LH and RH rear console carriers.

    TIp
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  3. Remove the center console LH and RH side panel carpets. See Carpet - Side Panel - Center Console - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the LH and RH center console lower brackets to the instrument panel carrier.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  5. Remove the bolts (x2) that secure the LH and RH console carrier center brackets.

  6. Recline both front seat backrests.
  7. Disconnect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  8. Disconnect the center console connectors (x4) from the body harness.
  9. With assistance, remove the center console assembly from the vehicle.

    Note
    Lift the rear of the console, rotate the front of the console from under the instrument panel, and then remove the console from the vehicle through the passenger door. Take care not to scratch the seats, instrument panel, or the inner door panel.

Install

  1. With assistance, carefully maneuver the front of the 1st row center console assembly under and into the instrument panel carrier, and then lower the rear of the console into place.

    Note
    Align the datums (x3) with the instrument panel carrier, and then engage the console forward.
  2. Connect the center console connectors (x4) to the body harness.

    Note
    Ensure all connector locks are engaged.
  3. Connect the LV battery power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  4. Install the bolts (x2) that attach the LH and RH center console lower brackets to the instrument panel carrier.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

  5. Install the bolts (x2) that secure the LH and RH console carrier center brackets.
    10 Nm (7.4 lbs-ft)

  6. Install the center console LH and RH side panel carpets. See Carpet - Side Panel - Center Console - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Move both front seats forward and raise both backrests.
  8. Install the bolts (x2) that secure the LH and RH rear console carriers.
    12 Nm (8.8 lbs-ft)

    • 10 mm socket
  9. Install the center console back panel. See Back Panel - Center Console (2025+) (Remove and Install).
  10. Hold the upper B-pillar button in the down position to manually calibrate the LH and RH falcon wing doors.
