Duct - Instrument Panel - Driver (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the instrument panel sub-assembly from the vehicle. See Sub Assembly - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace).

    Note
    It is not necessary to remove components from the sub-assembly after the entire assembly has been removed from the instrument panel.
  2. Release the rivets (x2) that attach the driver instrument panel duct to the instrument panel, disconnect the electrical connector, and then slide the duct outward and up to remove it from the HVAC unit assembly.

Install

  1. Position the driver instrument panel duct into the instrument panel, connect the electrical connector, and then slide the duct inward and into the HVAC unit assembly to secure the rivets (x2).
  2. Install the instrument panel sub-assembly into the vehicle. See Sub Assembly - Instrument Panel (Remove and Replace).
