Remove
- Remove the LH front sill panel trim. See Trim - Sill Panel - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the LH IP end cap. See End Cap - Instrument Panel - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the LH middle A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the LH lower A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Remove the driver outboard footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Outboard - Driver (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the driver knee airbag. See Knee Airbag - Driver (Remove and Replace).
- Move the LH front cabin carpet aside for access.
- Use a clip prytool to release the clip that attaches the harness to the LH body controller.
- Disconnect the understood storage unit electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
- Release the connector lock, disconnect the body 1 electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
- Disconnect the body 3 electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
- Release the connector lock, disconnect the body 5 electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
- Release the connector lock, disconnect the body 4 electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
- Release the connector lock, disconnect the body 2 electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
- Disconnect the body 6 electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
- Release the connector lock, disconnect the power electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
- Disconnect the door 2 electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
- Disconnect the door electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
- Release the connector lock, disconnect the dash electrical connector from the LH body controller module.
- Release the connector lock, disconnect the harness electrical connector.

Remove and discard the nut that attaches the LH body controller to the body.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Lift the LH body controller module upwards carefully to release the tab, and then remove the LH body controller module from the vehicle.
Install
- Install the LH body controller module to the vehicle.

Install a new nut that attaches the LH body controller to the body.6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Connect the harness electrical connector.
- Connect the dash electrical connector to the LH body controller module.
- Connect the door electrical connector to the LH body controller module.
- Connect the door 2 electrical connector to the LH body controller module.
- Connect the power electrical connector to the LH body controller module.
- Connect the body 6 electrical connector to the LH body controller module.
- Connect the body 2 electrical connector to the LH body controller module.
- Connect the body 4 electrical connector to the LH body controller module.
- Connect the body 5 electrical connector to the LH body controller module.
- Connect the body 3 electrical connector to the LH body controller module.
- Connect the body 1 electrical connector to the LH body controller module.
- Connect the understood storage unit electrical connector to the LH body controller module.
- Fasten the clip that attaches the harness to the LH body controller.
- Return the LH main carpet back in place.
- Install the driver knee airbag. See Knee Airbag - Driver (Remove and Replace).
- Install the driver outboard footwell cover. See Cover - Footwell - Outboard - Driver (Remove and Replace).
- Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Unlock the vehicle gateway. See Gateway (Unlock).

routine using Service Mode or Toolbox (see 0005 - Service Modes):

- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Install the LH lower A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Lower - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the LH middle A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the LH IP end cap. See End Cap - Instrument Panel - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the LH front sill panel trim. See Trim - Sill Panel - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Move the LH front seat back to its original position.
- Perform the following routine using Service Mode or Toolbox (see 0005 - Service Modes):
