Correction code 21153002 FRT 0.54 NOTE: Unless otherwise explicitly stated in the procedure, the correction code and FRT listed above reflect all of the work required to perform this procedure, including the linked procedures. Do not stack correction codes unless explicitly told to do so. NOTE: See Flat Rate Times to learn more about FRTs and how they are created. NOTE: See Personal Protection to make sure you are wearing proper PPE when performing the procedure below. NOTE: See Ergonomic Precautions for safe and healthy working practices.

1. Open the LH front door.
2. Lower both front windows.
3. Open the RH front door.
4. Move the RH front seat backward.
5. Open the hood.

   

6. Power off the vehicle using the touchscreen.

   

7. Remove the rear underhood apron.

   

   

8. Disconnect the LV battery connector and First Responder Loop.

   

   

   

9. Remove RH front floor mat

   

10. Remove RH footwell cover
    Note

    3x magnets, 1x connector, 4x datums

    

    

11. Remove RH console side carpet
    Note

    11x clips, 2x datums

    

    

12. Remove RH front door sill trim panel
    Note

    8x clips, 3x datums

    

    

13. Remove RH IP end cap
    Note

    3x clips

    

14. Remove RH mid A-pillar trim
    Note

    2x clips, 3x datums, Release clips from upper A-pillar and IP sub assembly, Lift mid A-pillar trim out of lower A-pillar trim

    

    

    

15. Remove RH lower A-pillar trim
    Note

    1x bolt, T25, 5 Nm, 2x clips, 1x datum

    

    

    

16. Fold RH front cabin carpet aside for access

    

17. Release harness from RH footrest panel
    Note

    1x clip

    

18. Release RH footrest panel
    Note

    2x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, 2x nut, 10mm, 5 Nm

    

19. Remove RH footrest panel
    Note

    Fold RH primary support carpet up, Rotate RH footrest panel out of vehicle

    

    

20. Release connector to connectivity module
    Note

    1x connector, Move release lock rearward before removal

    

    

21. Put on ESD wrist strap and connect to vehicle ground

    

22. Remove the car computer top cover fasteners
    Note

    6x screws, T10, 1.4 Nm, Discard after removal

    

23. Remove car computer cover

    

    

24. Remove connectivity board mounting screws
    Note

    5x screws, T10, 0.7 Nm, Discard after removal

    

25. Slide the connectivity board down to separate connector and remove
    Note

    1x connector, Ensure full disengagement of connectivity board before attempting to remove

    

    

26. Slide the connectivity board in to the PCB connector
    Note

    1x connector, 1x datum, Align datum with slot in connectivity card and fully engage

    

    

    

27. Install mounting screws to secure connectivity board
    Note

    5x screws, T10, 0.7 Nm, Install new fasteners

    

28. Install car computer cover

    

    

29. Install top cover mounting screws
    Note

    6x screws, T10, 1.4 Nm, Install new screws

    

30. Remove ESD wrist strap

    

31. Install connector to connectivity module
    Note

    1x connector, Slide lock underneath connector

    

    

32. Connect the First Responder Loop and LV battery connector.

    

    

33. Install the rear underhood apron.

    

    

34. Close the hood.
35. Place vehicle in service mode with touchscreen
    Note

    Select Controls > Software , Touch and hold "Model" for 2 seconds then release, Use the screen keyboard to type "service" into dialog box and select OK button, Select "X" at upper left corner to exit 'Service Settings' dialogue box

    

    

    

36. Reinstall firmware via UI
    Note

    Via Controls > Service Mode > Software Reinstall, Select Reinstall button at Software Reinstall dialogue box, Reinstall will begin immediately, Once firmware redeploy is complete, Verify release notes are present via UI

    

    

37. Once firmware redeploy is complete, Verify release notes are present via UI
    Note

    If redeploy fails then error message will appear

    

38. Run ODIN routine PROC_ICE_X_EXIT-SERVICE-MODEvia Toolbox:(link)
39. Install RH footrest panel
    Note

    Rotate RH footrest panel onto vehicle, Fold RH primary support carpet down

    

    

40. Secure RH footrest panel
    Note

    2x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, 2x nut, 10mm, 5 Nm

    

41. Secure harness to RH footrest panel
    Note

    1x clip

    

42. Fold RH main carpet back into place

    

43. Install RH footwell cover
    Note

    3x magnets, 4x datums, 1x connector

    

    

44. Install RH lower A-pillar trim
    Note

    1x bolt, T25, 5 Nm, 2x clips, 1x datum

    

    

45. Install RH mid A-pillar trim
    Note

    2x clips, 3x datums, Verify weather seal is seated properly

    

    

    

46. Install RH IP end cap
    Note

    3x clips

    

47. Install RH front door sill trim panel
    Note

    8x clips, 3x datums

    

    

48. Install RH front floor mat

    

49. Move the RH front seat to its original position.
50. Calibrate the RH falcon wing door.

    

51. Raise the RH front window.
52. Close the RH front door.
53. Calibrate the LH falcon wing door.

    

54. Verify BT, WiFi, and LTE are functioning properly

    

55. Raise the LH front window.
56. Close the LH front door.
