  • 2026-02-09: Released new procedure.
  1. Open the LH front door.
  2. Lower both front windows.
  3. Open the RH front door.
  4. Move the RH front seat backward.
  5. Open the hood.
  6. Power off the vehicle using the touchscreen.
  7. Remove the rear underhood apron.
  8. Disconnect the LV battery connector and First Responder Loop.
  9. Remove RH front floor mat
  10. Remove RH footwell cover

  15. Remove RH lower A-pillar trim

  16. Fold RH front cabin carpet aside for access
  17. Release harness from RH footrest panel

    2x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, 2x nut, 10mm, 5 Nm
  19. Remove RH footrest panel

    Fold RH primary support carpet up, Rotate RH footrest panel out of vehicle
  20. Release connector to connectivity module

    1x connector, Move release lock rearward before removal
  21. Put on ESD wrist strap and connect to vehicle ground
  22. Remove the car computer top cover fasteners

    6x screws, T10, 1.4 Nm, Discard after removal
  23. Remove car computer cover
  24. Remove connectivity board mounting screws

  25. Slide the connectivity board down to separate connector and remove

    1x connector, Ensure full disengagement of connectivity board before attempting to remove
  26. Slide the connectivity board in to the PCB connector

    1x connector, 1x datum, Align datum with slot in connectivity card and fully engage
  27. Install mounting screws to secure connectivity board

    5x screws, T10, 0.7 Nm, Install new fasteners
  28. Install car computer cover
  29. Install top cover mounting screws

    6x screws, T10, 1.4 Nm, Install new screws
  30. Remove ESD wrist strap
  31. Install connector to connectivity module

    1x connector, Slide lock underneath connector
  32. Connect the First Responder Loop and LV battery connector.
  33. Install the rear underhood apron.
  34. Close the hood.
  35. Place vehicle in service mode with touchscreen

    Select Controls > Software , Touch and hold "Model" for 2 seconds then release, Use the screen keyboard to type "service" into dialog box and select OK button, Select "X" at upper left corner to exit 'Service Settings' dialogue box
  36. Reinstall firmware via UI

    Via Controls > Service Mode > Software Reinstall, Select Reinstall button at Software Reinstall dialogue box, Reinstall will begin immediately, Once firmware redeploy is complete, Verify release notes are present via UI

  39. Install RH footrest panel

  40. Secure RH footrest panel

  43. Install RH footwell cover

  48. Install RH front floor mat
  49. Move the RH front seat to its original position.
  50. Calibrate the RH falcon wing door.
  51. Raise the RH front window.
  52. Close the RH front door.
  53. Calibrate the LH falcon wing door.
  54. Verify BT, WiFi, and LTE are functioning properly
  55. Raise the LH front window.
  56. Close the LH front door.
