Bracket - Applique - Liftgate (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Remove the liftgate applique. See Applique - Liftgate (Remove and Replace).

Remove the screws (x4) that attach the
liftgate applique bracket to the liftgate, and then release the bracket from the
liftgate.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- T20 socket

Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the
rear facing camera to the liftgate applique bracket, release the camera harness from the
bracket, and then remove the bracket from the vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- T20 socket
Install

Use IPA wipes to remove any residual
adhesive from the liftgate.
NoteAllow 1 minute of dry time.

Position the rear facing camera onto the liftgate applique bracket, secure the camera
harness to the bracket, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the camera to the
bracket.NoteMake sure to correctly route the rear camera cable.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- T20 socket

Remove the adhesive backing from the liftgate applique bracket, position the bracket
onto the liftgate, and then install the screws (x4) that attach the bracket to the
liftgate.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- T20 socket

Install a molding hold down tool on
each end of the liftgate applique bracket and allow the bracket to set for 5
minutes.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Molding Hold Down Tool - 1080595-00-A
- Install the liftgate applique. See Applique - Liftgate (Remove and Replace).
