  8. Release cowl screen washer supply hose located above LH shock tower cover

  9. Remove RH outer hood hinge cover

  12. Power off vehicle via center display

  13. Disconnect LV battery connector and First Responder Loop

    2x connectors, Lift up and release green locking tab, Pull black connector lock outwards to release connection, Release red lock tab on FRL
  14. Release clip securing the supermanifold to battery pump supply hose from LV battery

  15. Remove fasteners securing the LV battery and remove assembly

    3x bolts, 10mm, 9 Nm, 2x locators
  16. Place absorbent material below chiller to battery pump hose at supermanifold

  17. Disconnect chiller to battery hose from supermanifold

  18. Place absorbent material below battery coolant pump

  19. Release battery coolant temp sensor connection

  20. Release supermanifold to battery supply hose from battery pump

  21. Secure supermanifold to battery pump supply hose to battery pump

  22. Secure battery coolant temp sensor connection

  23. Secure chiller to battery pump hose to the supermanifold

  24. Remove absorbent material below chiller to battery pump hose at supermanifold and under battery pump

  25. Install LV battery to multi-system beam

  26. Install clip securing the supermanifold to battery pump supply hose onto LV battery

    4x push clips, Secure cowl into lower windshield channel
  28. Install LH outer hood hinge cover

  38. Fill coolant to the proper level

  39. Connect First Responder Loop and LV battery connector

    2x connectors, Secure FRL first, Seat LV battery connection and push black connector lock inwards to secure, Engage upper locking tab when fully seated
  40. Release IP service panel

  41. Using laptop connect to vehicle with ethernet diag kit and Toolbox 3

    Open Toolbox 3 website and establish connection to the vehicle, https://toolbox.teslamotors.com, For local connection issues with Toolbox 3 refer to https://toolbox.teslamotors.com/articles/43695, Media converter box is powered by laptop using USB, Ethernet connection will provide communication
  42. Select "Actions/Autodiag" tab and search for "Purge"
  43. Select TEST_VCFRONT_X_THERMAL-COOLANT-AIR-PURGESearch for routine in ToolboxCoolant Air PurgeThermal / Coolant System - Coolant Purge Starthv / Front Drive Inverter Replacement - Coolant Air Purgehv / Rear Drive Inverter Replacement - Coolant Air Purgehv / Rear Left Drive Inverter Replacement - Coolant Air Purgehv / Rear Right Drive Inverter Replacement - Coolant Air Purgehv / Front Drive Unit Replacement - Coolant Air Purgehv / Rear Drive Unit Replacement - Coolant Air PurgeThermal / Actions - Coolant Purge Stop or Coolant Purge Start, click "Run", and allow routine to complete

    Make sure vehicle is not in drive state, Routine is still running despite the stop message, Coolant pumps will be audible, Test lasts approximately 10 mins, Putting vehicle into drive state will stop this routine, Monitor levels as required
  44. Disconnect Toolbox 3 from vehicle and remove laptop and ethernet diag kit
  45. Install IP service panel

    2x tabs, 4 datums, Slide forward engaging datums then secure tabs upward into IP
  46. Inspect coolant level and top off as necessary

    Ensure that the fluid level is at the Max line, Top off fluid as required
  47. Install coolant bottle cap
  48. Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install).
  49. Remove vehicle from lift

    Lower rack arms fully and remove them from under vehicle, Remove air suspension from "Jack Mode"
