Funnel - Drain - HVAC (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Remove the HVAC assembly. See HVAC Assembly (Remove and Replace).

Release the tabs (x2) that attach the HVAC drain funnel to the bulkhead, and then remove the funnel from the bulkhead.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Plastic trim tool

Pull the HVAC drain funnel and drain hose into the cabin, and then install hose clamp pliers on the drain hose to hold in position.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Hose clamp pliers

Release the datum that attaches the HVAC drain funnel to the drain hose, and then remove the funnel from the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Plastic trim tool
Install

Position the HVAC drain funnel on the vehicle, and then install the datum that attaches the funnel to the drain hose.
NoteEnsure the datum is fully engaged with the cutout in the drain hose.
- Remove the hose clamp pliers from the drain hose.

Install the tabs (x2) that attach the HVAC drain funnel to the bulkhead.
NoteAlign the funnel datum with the cutout in the bulkhead. Ensure both tabs are locked into the bulkhead.
