Hose - Radiator to 3 Way Valve (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  2. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install).
  3. Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  4. Remove the front body controller. See Module - Body Controller - Front (Remove and Replace).
  5. Release the clip that attaches the front controller harness connectors to the vehicle.
  6. Use a bungee cord to secure the front controller harness connectors to the hood shock.
  7. Raise the vehicle fully.
  8. Remove the front aero shield. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
  9. Place a coolant catcher under the RH front of the vehicle.
  10. Release the clip, disconnect the radiator to 3 way valve hose from the 3 way valve, then immediately plug both fittings.
  11. Release the clip, disconnect the radiator to 3 way valve hose from the 3 way valve, then immediately plug both fittings.
  12. Remove the radiator to 3 way valve hose from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Remove the plugs, immediately connect the radiator to 3 way valve hose to the radiator, then fasten the clip.

    Note
    Perform a push-pull-push test on the fittings to make sure that they are secure.
  2. Remove the plugs, immediately connect the radiator to 3 way valve hose to the 3 way valver, then fasten the clip.

  3. Release the front controller harness connectors from the hood shock.
  4. Fasten the clip that attaches the front controller harness connectors to the vehicle.
  5. Install the front body controller. See Module - Body Controller - Front (Remove and Replace).
  6. Connect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
  7. Perform the cooling system (partial refill and bleed) procedure. See Cooling System (Partial Refill and Bleed).
  8. Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Install).
  9. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  10. Disable Service Mode. See Service Mode (Enable and Disable).
  11. Remove the coolant catcher from under the vehicle.
  12. Install the front aero shield. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
  13. Press and hold the lower button on each upper B-pillar to calibrate the falcon wing doors.
  14. Remove the vehicle from the 2 post lift. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
