Sun Visor - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the LH front window.
  2. Move the driver seat rearward.
  3. Remove the LH instrument panel end cap. See End Cap - Instrument Panel - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the LH middle A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Remove the LH sun visor bezel A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Sun Visor Bezel - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Remove the LH upper A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Release the clip that attaches the sun visor harness to the vehicle, and then disconnect sun visor electrical connector.
  8. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the sun visor to the vehicle, and then remove the visor from the vehicle.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Lift the A-Pillar bracket to release the datum.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket

Install

  1. Position the sun visor into the vehicle, and then install the bolts (x2) that attach the visor to the vehicle.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

    Note
    Lift the A-Pillar bracket to secure the datum.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm socket
  2. Secure the clip that attaches the sun visor harness to the vehicle, and then connect the sun visor electrical connector.
  3. Install the LH upper A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Upper - LH (Remove and Replace).
  4. Install the LH sun visor bezel A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Sun Visor Bezel - LH (Remove and Replace).
  5. Install the LH middle A-pillar trim. See Trim - A-Pillar - Middle - LH (Remove and Replace).
  6. Install the LH instrument panel end cap. See End Cap - Instrument Panel - LH (Remove and Replace).
  7. Move the driver seat to the original position.
  8. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
