Fascia - Front (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the front license plate bracket. See Bracket - License Plate - Front (Remove and Replace).
  2. Remove the front fascia. See Fascia - Front (Remove and Install).
  3. Disconnect the electrical harness from the RH front turn signal/fog light connector.
  4. Release the clips that attach the electrical harness to the front turn signal/fog light.
  5. Remove the screws that attach the front turn signal/fog light to the front fascia.
  6. Use a trim tool to release the tabs (x4) that attach the front turn signal/fog light to the front fascia, and then remove the light from the front fascia.
  7. Repeat step 3 through step 5 for the LH front turn signal/fog light.
  8. Disconnect the electrical harness from all of the front parking distance sensors connectors (x6).

  9. Release the clips that attach the parking distance sensors to the front fascia, and then remove the sensors (x6) from the fascia.

  10. Disconnect the electrical harness from the ambient air temperature sensor connector.
  11. Release the clips that attach the electrical harness to the front fascia, and then remove the electrical harness from the fascia.
  12. Release the clips that attach the tow hook cover to the front fascia, and then remove the cover from the fascia.
  13. Remove the screws that attach the front fascia grille to the front fascia.
  14. Release the clips (x9) that attach the front fascia grille to the front fascia, and then remove grille from the fascia.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

  1. Install the front fascia grille onto the front fascia, and then fasten the clips (x9) that attach the grille to the fascia.

  2. Install the screws that attach the front fascia grille to the front fascia.
    1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)
  3. Install the tow hook cover to the front fascia, and then fasten the clips that attach the cover to the fascia.
  4. Install the electrical harness to the front fascia, and then fasten the clips that attach the electrical harness to the fascia.
  5. Connect the electrical harness to the ambient air temperature sensor connector.
  6. Install the parking distance sensors (x6) to the front fascia, and then fasten the clips that attach the sensors to the fascia.

  7. Connect the electrical harness to all of the front parking distance sensors connectors (x6).

  8. Install the front turn signal/fog light to the front fascia, and then fasten the tabs (x4) that attach the light to the fascia.
  9. Install the screws that attach the front turn signal/fog light to the front fascia.
    2.8 Nm (2.1 lbs-ft)
  10. Fasten the clips that attach the electrical harness to the front turn signal/fog light.
  11. Connect the electrical harness to the RH front turn signal/fog light connector.
  12. Install the front fascia. See Fascia - Front (Remove and Install).
  13. Install the front license plate bracket. See Bracket - License Plate - Front (Remove and Replace).
  14. Perform a radar sensor calibration only if the front radar sensor likely moved outside of its calibration tolerance (due to front end collision, contact while removing the fascia, etc.). See Sensor - Radar - Front (Calibration).
