Camera - Interior (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the rear view mirror. See Mirror - Rear View (Remove and Replace).
  2. Release the clips that attach the upper quad camera cover, disconnect the occupant camera connector(s), and then remove the camera cover from the vehicle.
  3. Release the tabs (x3) that attach the occupant camera to to the upper quad camera cover, release the electrical harness (if equipped) from the camera cover, and then remove the camera from the camera cover.

    Note
    If one or more tabs are broken, the camera may be attached by screws (torque 1 Nm).

Install

  1. Enable Service Mode. See Service Mode.

    CAUTION
    To prevent potential damage to the replacement camera, Service Mode must be enabled prior to connecting the camera.
  2. Perform the Removal in reverse to install the replacement interior camera.
  3. Reset the vehicle DAS using the touchscreen: Service Mode "Wrench" > Driver Assist > Cameras > Reset DAS
  4. Disable Service Mode. See Service Mode.
