Sensor - Ambient Air Temperature (Non-Heat Pump) (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Place the vehicle on the 2-post lift.

    Ensure the vehicle is not charging.
  2. Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  3. Disconnect the electrical harness from the ambient air temperature sensor connector.
  4. Release the clip that attaches the ambient air temperature sensor to the lower grille, and then remove the sensor from the lower grille.

    Note
    Press the tab that attaches the ambient air temperature sensor and slide up to remove it from the lower grille.

Install

  1. Clip the ambient air temperature sensor to the lower grille.
  2. Connect the electrical harness to the ambient air temperature sensor connector.
  3. Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the vehicle from the lift.
