Remove
- Remove the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
- Disconnect the 12V power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Remove the wheel arch liner. See Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).

Disconnect pyrotechnic actuator connector(x1).

Remove the nuts (x2) that attach the pyrotechnic actuator to the body, and then remove the actuator from the vehicle.6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:

Install the nuts (x2) that attache the pyrotechnic actuator to the body, and then install the actuator to the vehicle.6 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)TipUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:

Connect pyrotechnic actuator connector(x1).
- Install the wheel arch liner. See Wheel Arch Liner - Front - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Connect the 12V power. See 12V/LV Power (Disconnect and Connect).
- Install the underhood storage unit. See Underhood Storage Unit (Remove and Replace).
