Bracket - Fascia Side to Fender - LH (Remove and Replace)

  • 2024-03-19: Updated topic to remove fascia side to fender bracket without removing the wheel.

Remove

  1. Open the LH front door and lower the window.
  2. Press the brake pedal to turn on the drive rails.
  3. Turn the steering wheel fully to the right.
  4. Remove the push clips (x3) that attach the LH front wheel arch liner to the front fascia.
  5. Pull the front portion of the LH front wheel arch liner away from the front fascia.
  6. Loosen the bolts that attach the front fascia to the LH front fender.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
  7. Remove the bolt that attaches the front fascia to the LH front fender.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)
  8. Carefully pull aside the corner of the front fascia to gain access to the LH fascia side to fender bracket.
  9. Remove the bolts that attach the LH fascia side to fender bracket to the LH front fender, and then remove the bracket from the vehicle.

Install

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal, except for the following:

  • Align the fascia to the fender before tightening the bolts that attach the fascia to the fender.
