Remove
- Remove front passenger seat from the vehicle. See Seat Assembly - 1st Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the front passenger seat outboard side shield. See Side Shield - Outboard - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
- Release the connector lock, and then disconnect the electrical connector from the pretensioner.
- Remove the front passenger seat inboard side shield. See Side Shield - Inboard - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the 1st row buckle.

Position the seat to access the
underside of the seat.
NoteProtect the seat cushion from damage as necessary.
- Disconnect the seat track position sensor connector.
- Release the clip that attaches the track motor harness to the track motor housing.
- Disconnect the LH front seat track motor connector.

Remove and discard the inboard bolts
(x2) that attach the seat track to the seat cushion frame.23 Nm (17.0 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T50 socket

Remove the outboard bolts (x2) that
attach the seat track to the seat cushion frame, and then set the seat track assembly on
a flat surface.23 Nm (17.0 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T50 socket

Remove and discard the patchbolt that
attaches the buckle to the seat track, and then remove the buckle.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T50 socket
- 3/8 in std ratchet
- 3/8 in torque wrench (installation only)
- 3 in extension

Remove and discard the bolt that
attaches the pretensioner to the seat track, and then remove the pretensioner from the
assembly.40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T50 socket
- 3/8 in std ratchet
- 3/8 in torque wrench (installation only)
- 3 in extension

Remove the screw that attaches the
seat track position sensor to the seat track assembly, and then remove the sensor from
the assembly.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
Install

Position the seat track position
sensor to the seat track assembly, and then install a new screw that attaches the sensor
to the assembly.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:

Position the pretensioner to the seat
track, and then install a new bolt that attaches the pretensioner to the seat
track.40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)NoteAlign the pretensioner guide pin to the seat track.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T50 socket
- 3/8 in std ratchet
- 3/8 in torque wrench (installation only)
- 3 in extension

Position the buckle onto the seat
track assembly, and then install the patchbolt that comes with the new seat belt buckle
to attach the buckle to the seat track.40 Nm (29.5 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T50 socket
- 3/8 in std ratchet
- 3/8 in torque wrench (installation only)
- 3 in extension
- Position the new seat track assembly to the seat cushion frame.

Install the outboard bolts (x2) that
attach the seat track to the seat cushion frame.23 Nm (17.0 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T50 socket

Install new inboard bolts (x2) that
attach the seat track to the seat cushion frame.23 Nm (17.0 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Torx T50 socket
- Connect the LH front seat track motor connector.
- Install the clip that attaches the seat track harness connector to the seat track motor.
- Connect the seat track position sensor connector.
- Return the seat back to the upright position.
- Connect the buckle connector.
- Install the front passenger seat inboard side shield. See Side Shield - Inboard - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
- Connect the pretensioner electrical connector.
- Install the front passenger seat outboard side shield. See Side Shield - Outboard - Driver Seat (Remove and Replace).
- Install the front passenger seat. See Seat Assembly - 1st Row - LH (Remove and Replace).
