Fascia Bracket - Headlamp - LH (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
  2. Disconnect the LV power. See GUID-C392D1B4-3007-45A4-A469-1B92676863F1.html.
  3. Remove the front fascia. See Fascia - Front (Remove and Install).
  4. Pull the tab to disengage the lock mechanism, then pull again to release the LH front headlamp connector.
    Note
    Do not press down on the tab. Connector style may vary.
  5. Remove the bolts (x2) that secure the LH headlamp.
    Note
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  6. Remove the LH headlamp from the vehicle.
    CAUTION
    Be careful not to damage any components during the removal.
  7. Remove the screws (x3) that attach the LH fascia bracket to the headlamp, and then remove the bracket.
    Note
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket

Install

  1. Install the LH fascia bracket to the headlamp and install the screws (x3).
    2 Nm (1.5 lbs-ft)
    Note
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T25 socket
  2. Install the LH headlamp to the vehicle.
    CAUTION
    Be careful not to damage any components during the removal.
  3. Install the bolts (x2) that secure the LH headlamp.
    5.9 Nm (4.4 lbs-ft)
    Note
    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 10 mm deep socket
  4. Connect the LH front headlamp connector.
  5. Install the front fascia. See Fascia - Front (Remove and Install).
  6. Connect the LV power. See GUID-C392D1B4-3007-45A4-A469-1B92676863F1.html.
  7. Remove the lift arms from below the vehicle.
  8. On the vehicle touchscreen, touch Controls > Service > Adjust Headlamps.
  9. Touch Wall Aiming and press and hold the brake pedal to turn on drive rails. Headlights will perform a calibration cycle.
  10. Place the vehicle on a flat level surface in front of a wall, view the camera preview on the center display, and position the vehicle so the red line perfectly overlaps the wall-floor intersection. The distance between the front of the vehicle to the wall should measure exactly 4 meters.
  11. Select "Left", then use the left scroll wheel on the steering wheel to adjust the LH headlight horizontal and vertical beam to align with the left L-shaped indicator on the screen, and adjust the vertical aim to align with "A" and "B".
    Note
    DO NOT sit in vehicle as this will affect the headlamp height.
  12. Select "Right", then use the left scroll wheel on the steering wheel to adjust the RH headlight horizontal and vertical beam to align with the right L-shaped indicator on the screen, and adjust the vertical aim to align with "A" and "B".

    DO NOT sit in vehicle as this will affect the headlamp height.
  13. Exit headlight aiming mode on the touchscreen.
  14. Raise the LH front window and close the LH front door.
