Grille - Fascia - Front (Remove and Replace)

Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the front fascia assembly. See Fascia - Front (Remove and Replace).

    It is not necessary to remove the front fascia harness, valance and grille from the front fascia assembly.
  2. Release the clips (x2) that attach the washer hose to the lower grille, and then disconnect the washer hose connector.

    This washer hose assembly may not be present on early production vehicles. If not, skip this step.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the front fascia camera.

  4. Remove the screws (x2) that attach the front fascia camera cover to the front fascia assembly.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Torx T20 socket
  5. Use a clip prytool to release the clips (x5) that attach the fascia harness to the grille.
  6. Remove the bolts (x2) that attach the grille to the front fascia.

  7. Remove the clips (x16) that attach the grille to the front fascia.

Install

  1. Position the grille onto the front fascia.
  2. Install the clips (x16) that attach the grille to the front fascia.
  3. Install the bolts (x2) that attach the grille to the front fascia.
    1.8 Nm (1.3 lbs-ft)

    • Ratchet/torque wrench
    • 3 in extension
    • 15 mm socket
    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
  4. Install the clips (x5) that attach the fascia harness to the grille.
  5. Install the screws (x2) that attach the front fascia camera cover to the front fascia assembly.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)

  6. Connect the electrical connector to the front fascia camera.

  7. Connect the washer hose connector, and then install the clips (x2) that attach the washer hose to the lower grille.
