Remove
- Open all four doors.
- Lower all four windows.
- Move the LH front seat forward.
- Move the LH front seat upward.
- Move the RH front seat forward.

Remove the rear end panel
assembly.
NoteRelease the upper clips (x7) then the lower tabs (x2).

Remove the rear bolts (x2) that secure
the center console to the vehicle.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
NoteThe passenger seat cannot be fully adjusted out of the way from the RH rear 10mm bolt. Removing the RH side bolt requires a 10 mm combination flex wrench - Move both front seats backward.

Remove the LH console side panel
carpet.
NoteUse a trim tool at the rear edge to release the upper clips. If the clips are too tight, use the prytool to remove clips, then pull the bottom to release the remaining clips. Finally, release the tab and pull the side panel out backward.NoteReplace any damaged clips.

Remove the LH front exterior bolts
(x2) from the center console.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Repeat the previous 2 steps for the RH side of the vehicle.
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).

Disconnect the harness from the rear
of the center console.

Remove the center console assembly
from the vehicle.
WarningLift with assistance.TIpTilt the rear end of the console upward, pull the assembly towards the rear of the vehicle, then tilt the front end of the console upward and remove through the RH side. Place the assembly on a work table.
Install

Install the center console assembly
into the vehicle.
WarningLift with assistance.TIpTilt the front end of the console downward, slide the assembly towards the front of the vehicle , and tilt the rear end of the console down into place.

Connect the harness to the rear of
center console.
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Power (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).

Install and torque the RH front
exterior bolts (x2).
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
7 Nm (5.2 lbs-ft) -
Install the RH console side panel
carpet. Secure the 14x clips.
- Repeat the previous 2 steps for the LH side of the vehicle.

Move both front seats forward.

Install the rear bolts (x2) that
secure the center console to the vehicle.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
7 Nm (5.2 lbs-ft)NoteThe passenger seat cannot be fully adjusted out of the way from the RH rear 10 mm bolt. A 10 mm combination flex wrench in required to install the RH side bolt. -
Install the rear end panel assembly.
Secure the clips (x7).
- Move both front seats to their original positions.
- Raise all four windows.
- Close all four doors.
