Bracket - Rear - Center (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

Table 1. Torque Specifications: Bracket - Rear - Center (Remove and Replace)

Bolts (x5) that attach the rear center bracket to the body
4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
  • 4 in extension
  • 10 mm socket
  • Ratchet/torque wrench
Reuse Bolt is patched.

Remove

  1. Remove the rear fascia. See Fascia Assembly - Rear \(Remove and Install\).
  2. Remove the clip that attaches the BLE to the rear center bracket.
  3. Release the clips (x5) that attach the electrical harness to the rear center bracket.
  4. Remove the bolts (x5) and clips (x2) that attach the rear center bracket to the body.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Cordless hex driver
    • 10 mm socket
  5. Remove the rear center bracket from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Install the bolts (x5) and clips (x2) that attach the rear center bracket to the body.
    4 Nm (2.9 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 4 in extension
    • 10 mm socket
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
  2. Install the clips (x5) that attach the electrical harness to the rear center bracket.
  3. Install the clip that attaches the BLE to the rear center bracket.
  4. Install the rear fascia. See Fascia Assembly - Rear \(Remove and Install\).
