Tail Lights - Lamp Assembly, Rear Fascia Lamp, LH (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

 Reuse

Remove

  1. Remove the rear fascia and place it on a padded surface. See Bumper and Fascia - Rear Bumper Fascia - Rear Fascia (Remove and Install).
  2. Remove the bolt that attaches the rear upper fascia to the rear fascia.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
    • 10 mm socket
  3. Disconnect the LH rear fascia lamp connector.

  4. Remove the bolts (x2) and clip that attach the LH rear fascia lamp to the rear fascia.
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • Torx T25 socket
    • Torque Wrench Hexagon - 1060071-00-A (for installation only)
  5. Remove the LH rear fascia lamp assembly.

Install

  1. Install the bolts (x2) and clip that attach the LH rear fascia lamp to the rear fascia.
    2.5 Nm (1.8 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
    • Torx T25 socket
    • Torque Wrench Hexagon - 1060071-00-A (for installation only)
  2. Connect the LH rear fascia lamp connector.
  3. Install the bolt that attaches the rear upper fascia to the rear fascia.
    3 Nm (2.2 lbs-ft)
    Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • Ratchet/torque wrench
    • 10 mm socket
  4. Install the rear fascia. See Bumper and Fascia - Rear Bumper Fascia - Rear Fascia (Remove and Install).
  5. Locally connect a laptop with Toolbox 3 to the vehicle. See Toolbox 3 (Connect and Disconnect).
  6. Click the Actions tab, type "TEST-SELF_VCRIGHT_REAR_FASCIA-LIGHTS" into the search field, click , click Run, and allow the routine to complete.
  7. Disconnect the laptop from the vehicle.
  8. Remove the lift arms from below the vehicle.
