Remove
- Inspect the vehicle for abnormal tire wear that might indicate the need for a wheel alignment. Note any findings.
 - Raise and support the vehicle. See Raise Vehicle - 2 Post Lift.
 - Remove the LH front wheel. See Wheel Assembly (Remove and Install).
 - Remove the front aero shield. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
 -
Remove and discard the nut that
attaches the LH front lower lateral link to the knuckle.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
 - 22 mm socket
 - Ratchet/torque wrench

 -
Remove and discard the bolts (x2) that
attach the LH front lower lateral link to the front subframe.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
 - 21 mm deep socket
 - Ratchet/torque wrench

 -
Remove the bolt and nut that attach
the LH strut to the LH front lower lateral link, and then remove the LH front lower
            lateral link from the vehicle.
TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
 - 21 mm deep socket
 - Ratchet/torque wrench

Install
-
Position the LH front lower lateral
link into the vehicle, and then hand tighten the bolt and nut that attach the LH strut
to the LH front lower lateral link.

 -
Hand-tighten the new bolts (x2) that
attach the LH front lower lateral link to the front subframe.
CAUTIONInstall only bolt PN 2123635-00-A or newer.
 -
Install a new nut that attaches
the LH front lower lateral link to the knuckle.
180 Nm (132.7 lbs-ft)TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
 - 22 mm socket
 - Ratchet/torque wrench

 -
Tighten the bolts (x2) that attach the
LH front lower lateral link to the front subframe.
190 Nm (140.1 lbs-ft)CAUTIONRefer to the torque table for the correct bolt part number and torque values. These vary across regions, and using the incorrect bolt or torque may damage the subframe.TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Cordless Ratchet/Impact Driver
 - 21 mm deep socket
 - Ratchet/torque wrench

 - Install the front aero shield. See Panel - Aero Shield - Front (Remove and Replace).
 -

        Install the hub jack adapter
onto the LH front hub and hand-tighten the lug nuts (x5).

 -
        Position and raise the
underhoist stand to simulate the suspension at ride height.

 -
        Measure the distance between the
bottom of the fender and the center of the front axle to make sure that the
front suspension is set to ride height. The distance should measure 423
                    mm.

 -
Tighten the bolt and nut that attach
the LH strut to the LH front lower lateral link, and then mark the bolt and nut with a
            paint pen.
