Harness - Headliner (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Remove the headliner. See Headliner (Remove and Replace).
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the overhead console.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the LH front headliner microphone.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the RH front headliner microphone.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the LH map lamp.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the RH map lamp.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the LH headliner speaker.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the RH headliner speaker.
- Remove and discard the black soundproofing cotton which covers the electrical harness.
- Separate the glue attaching points (x2) that attach the headliner harness to the headliner.
- Release the clips (x23) and tree clips (x2) that attach the headliner harness to the headliner, and then remove the harness from the headliner.
Install
- Fasten the clips (x23) and tree clips (x2) that attach the headliner harness to the headline.
- Use a glue gun to attach the headliner harness to the headliner. Allow time for the glut to fully dry.
- Connect the electrical connector to the RH headliner speaker.
- Connect the electrical connector to the LH headliner speaker.
- Connect the electrical connector to the LH front headliner microphone.
- Connect the electrical connector to the RH front headliner microphone.
- Connect the electrical connector to the LH map lamp.
- Connect the electrical connector to the RH map lamp.
- Connect the front overhead console electrical connector.

Install new soundproofing
cotton which covers the electrical harness.
NoteBefore installation, clean any remaining soundproofing cotton.
- Install the headliner. See Headliner (Remove and Replace).
