Harness - Headliner (Remove and Replace)

Remove

  1. Remove the headliner. See Headliner (Remove and Replace).
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the overhead console.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the LH front headliner microphone.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector from the RH front headliner microphone.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector from the LH map lamp.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector from the RH map lamp.
  7. Disconnect the electrical connector from the LH headliner speaker.
  8. Disconnect the electrical connector from the RH headliner speaker.
  9. Remove and discard the black soundproofing cotton which covers the electrical harness.
  10. Separate the glue attaching points (x2) that attach the headliner harness to the headliner.
  11. Release the clips (x23) and tree clips (x2) that attach the headliner harness to the headliner, and then remove the harness from the headliner.

Install

  1. Fasten the clips (x23) and tree clips (x2) that attach the headliner harness to the headline.
  2. Use a glue gun to attach the headliner harness to the headliner. Allow time for the glut to fully dry.
  3. Connect the electrical connector to the RH headliner speaker.
  4. Connect the electrical connector to the LH headliner speaker.
  5. Connect the electrical connector to the LH front headliner microphone.
  6. Connect the electrical connector to the RH front headliner microphone.
  7. Connect the electrical connector to the LH map lamp.
  8. Connect the electrical connector to the RH map lamp.
  9. Connect the front overhead console electrical connector.
  10. Install new soundproofing cotton which covers the electrical harness.
