ECU - Charge Port (Gen4) (Remove and Replace)

Remove
- Open the trunk from the exterior switch.
- Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Disconnect LV power. See LV Battery - Li-lon (Disconnect and Connect).
- Remove the trunk load floor. See Load Floor - Trunk (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the trunk garnish. Garnish - Trunk (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the trunk sill trim. See Trim - Trunk Sill (Remove and Replace).
- Remove the LH trunk load floor bracket. See Bracket - Trunk Load Floor - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Disconnect the LH trunk task light electrical connector.

Remove the clip that secures
the LH trunk side trim to the vehicle, and then move the side trim
aside.
CAUTIONTake care not to cause excessive creasing when moving the side trim.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors (x3) from the charge port ECU.

Remove the bolt that attaches the charge port ECU to the vehicle.
Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Slide the charge port ECU to the right, and then remove the charge port ECU from the vehicle.
Install
- Install the charge port ECU by sliding it into the slots (x2) of the vehicle body.

Install the bolt that attaches the charge port ECU to the vehicle.Tip: Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
- 10 mm deep socket
- Flex head ratchet/flex head torque wrench
- Ratchet/torque wrench
- Connect the electrical connectors (x3) to the charge port ECU.
- Move the LH trunk side trim back into position.
- Connect LV power. See LV Battery - Li-lon (Disconnect and Connect).
- Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
- Reinstall the vehicle firmware. See Software Reinstall - Touchscreen.
- Connect the LH trunk task light electrical connector.
- Secure the LH trunk side trim with the clip.
- Install the trunk garnish. Garnish - Trunk (Remove and Replace).
- Install the trunk sill trim. See Trim - Trunk Sill (Remove and Replace).
- Install the LH trunk load floor bracket. See Bracket - Trunk Load Floor - LH (Remove and Replace).
- Install the trunk load floor. See Load Floor - Trunk (Remove and Replace).
