Open LH front door
-
Lower LH front window
-
Open RH front door
-
Lower RH front window
-
Move RH front seat backward
-
Open hood
-
Remove rear apron

Remove fresh air gutter assembly

Remove LH wiper arm nut cover
Note1x cover

Release LH wiper arm hose nozzle

Remove nut securing LH wiper arm to wiper module
Note1x nut, 15mm, 25 Nm

Remove LH wiper arm assembly from vehicle

Remove RH wiper arm nut cover

Release RH wiper arm hose nozzle

Remove nut securing RH wiper arm to wiper module
Note1x nut, 15mm, 25 Nm

Remove RH wiper arm assembly from vehicle
-
Release clips on the LH shock tower cover and move the tower cover to side

Release clips on the RH shock tower cover and move the tower cover to side
Note2x clips

Remove LH hood hinge cover
Note2x clips,1x dowel hole

Remove RH hood hinge cover
Note2x clips,1x dowel hole

Disconnect main washer hose
Note1x clip

Remove clip securing FRL harness to cowl screen
Note1x clip

Remove clip securing main washer hose to cowl screen
Note1x clip

Remove cowl screen
Note2x push clips, 4x clipsRelease cowl from windshield retainer
-
Disconnect wiper module connector
Note1x connector, Do not place limbs within the linkage movement area as wiper arms will automatically transition to parking mode
-
Remove bolts securing wiper module to body
Note3x bolts, 10mm, 7 Nm
-
Remove wiper module from vehicle
NoteKeep your fingers away from any potential pinch points and moving parts while connecting and installing the wiper module, Do not attempt to test the module until it is fully installed in the vehicle
-
Remove fresh air intake assembly
Note2x studs, Lift cowl as needed
-
Remove LH front wheel center cap
Note1x cap, Pull the inner side of the adjacent 2 claws on the wheel center cap by hands
-
Loosen LH front wheel nuts
Note5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm
-
Raise vehicle partially and lower lift onto locks
NoteSet vehicle to a comfortable working height, Make sure there's an audible click of the locks on both sides before lowering, Otherwise vehicle may tilt to the side
-
Remove LH front wheel
Note5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm
-
Partially remove LH front wheel liner
Note8x clips, 1x bolt, 10mm, 5 Nm
-
Disconnect the front harness connectors for the LH side repeater and camera
Note2x connectors, Release locking tabs
-
Lower vehicle partially and set lift onto locks
NoteRaise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered, Set vehicle to comfortable working height
-
Power off vehicle from center display
NoteVia Controls > Safety > Power Off, Select Power Off button at warning dialog box
-
Disconnect LV battery and first responder loop
Note2x connectors, Ensure that one minute has passed after window movement before performing the power-off, Release green locking tab, Press black tab then pull black connector lock outwards to release connection, Release red lock tab on FRL, Allow 2 minutes for all electrical circuits to fully discharge

Disconnect thermal sub-harness from front controller
Note1x connector, Depress locking tab and rotate to release

Remove bolts securing front controller shield assembly and remove from vehicle
Note2x bolts, 10mm, 8.5 Nm
-
Disconnect front controller harness connectors
Note5x connectors, 1x harness guide, Release locking tab if equipped
-
Remove bolt securing ground cable to front controller
Note1x bolt, 10mm, 8.5 Nm,
-
Remove bolts securing front controller
Note3x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm
-
Tilt front controller forward for access
NoteLift cowl screen up appropriately
-
Release LV negative harness clip from front controller
Note1x clip
-
Remove front controller from vehicle
Note1x tab
-
Release RH footwell cover
Note2x magnets, 1x guide tab, 1x connector
-
Partially release RH front primary door seal
NoteRelease lower section of RH front primary door seal
-
Remove RH IP end cap
Note5x clips, 2x guide tabs
-
Remove RH lower A-pillar trim
Note4x clips, 2x guide tabs, Pull rear of lower A-pillar upward to release clip then pull rearward to release front tabs from carpet
-
Remove RH knee airbag bolt covers
Note2x covers
-
Remove RH knee airbag bolts
Note4x bolts, EP10, 8.5 Nm, Discard bolts after removal, brake loose e10 by hand then use e-ratchet to back off hardware

Remove RH knee air bag assembly
Note1x air bag connector, 1x connector, Peel back plastic film, Release by pulling back both white tabs simutaneously, Avoid straining harness, Only one tab visible in image matching tab is on opposite side

Remove clips securing passenger footwell duct
Note2x clips
-
Disconnect glove box USB cable connector from car computer
Note1x connector, Release locking tab then release connector
-
Remove screws securing glove box to IP
Note4x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm
-
Release glove box from IP assembly
Note10x clips, 3x locator pins, 1x datum, Avoid damage to electromagnetic switch
-
Remove glove box
Note2x connectors

Remove RH passenger footwell duct from HVAC module
-
Disconnect RH IP air wave duct thermistor connector
Note1x connector
-
Remove RH IP air wave duct from HVAC module
-
Fold RH front main cabin carpet aside for access
Note2x clips, Lift center piece and pull carpet back, Release seat harness from clips to allow carpet to fold back more
-
Release windshield heater connecter
Note1x connector

Release RH grommet from body
-
Remove electrical tape securing harness bundle to rubber dust boot
NoteUse a razor blaze, carefully cut electrical tape away to expose rubber dust boot
-
Remove locking pin from connector
NoteCarefully pry pin out of connector and fully remove locking pin
-
Remove coax cable needed for the side repeater overlay terminal 2 (LHS)
NoteInspect all components for damage
-
Apply harness tape onto LH coax overlay cable before installation
NoteUse Anti-abrasion tape and wrap the entire length of the coax cable to protect the cable for damage when it is in the vehicle
-
Release frunk harness cover
Note3x tabs
-
Position M3 LH coax overlay cable into place, Place through LH wheel liner
NotePull till you have roughly 12 inches of cable towards the interior of the vehicle

Pull LH coax overlay cable through frunk harness
NotePull harness towards car computer, Route under brake booster lower connector
-
Tape coax overlay onto fish nylon tape
-
Pull LH coax overlay cable through bulkhead and into interior cabin
-
Remove nylon fish tape
NoteRemove tape the pull nylon fish tape out of vehicle
-
Disconnect side repeater cameras connector from car computer
Note1x locking connector
-
Remove locking pin from side repeater cameras connector
NoteCarefully pry pin out of connector and fully remove locking pin
-
Remove coax terminal 2 (LHS) cable from connector
NoteInspect all components for damage
-
Insert new side repeater coax terminal 2 (LHS) cable onto side repeater cameras connector
NoteEnsure both coax cables are fully seated into connector, Audible locking and flush mounting to confirm
-
Secure locking pin to connector
NoteAlign tabs of lock in connector housing, Ensure flush installation of locking pin to connector housing
-
Connect side repeater cameras connector onto car computer
Note1x locking connector

Position LH coax overlay cable onto frunk main harness, Secure cable onto harness using zip ties
Note7x zip-ties, Trim off excess material after harness has been secured
-
Cut off the vehicle side repeater coax terminal and tape to vehicle harness
NoteCut the coax connector only
-
Connect front harness connectors for LH side repeater and camera
Note2x connectors, Secure locking tabs
-
Secure RH grommet from body
NoteUse electrical tape to wrap the end of the dust boot
-
Secure frunk harness cover
Note3x tabs
-
Secure windshield heater connector
Note1x connector
-
Install LH front wheel liner to vehicle
Note8x clips, 1x bolt, 10mm, 5 Nm
-
Install LH front wheel
Note5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm, Start lug nuts by hand before using power tool
-
Lower vehicle until tires are touching ground
NoteRaise lift off locks, then hold lock release lever to keep locks free while vehicle is lowered
-
Torque LH front wheel
Note5x nuts, 21mm, 175 Nm
-
Install LH front wheel center cap
Note1x cap, Ensure that the cap is installed in place
-
Place front controller into vehicle for installation
Note1x tab
-
Secure LV negative harness clip from front controller
Note1x clip
-
Tilt front controller backward for installation
NoteLift cowl screen up appropriately
-
Install bolts securing front controller
Note3x bolts, 10mm, 10 Nm
-
Install bolt securing ground cable to front controller
Note1x bolt, 10mm, 8.5 Nm,
-
Connect front controller harness connectors
Note5x connectors, 1x harness guide, Secure locking tab, if equipped
-
Install front controller shield to front controller
Note2x bolts, 10mm, 8.5 Nm
-
Connect thermal sub-harness to front controller
Note1x connector, Rotate fully to secure locking tab
-
Install wiper module to vehicle
NoteKeep your fingers away from any potential pinch points and moving parts while connecting and installing the wiper module, Do not attempt to test the module until it is fully installed in the vehicle

Install bolts securing wiper module
Note3x bolts, 10mm, 7 Nm
-
Connect wiper module connector
Note1x connector, Do not place limbs within the linkage movement area as wiper arms will automatically transition to parking mode
-
Install cowl screen to vehicle
Note2x push clips, 4x clips
-
Install LH shock tower cover
Note3x push clips
-
Install LH hood hinge cover
Note2x clips,1x dowel hole, Install the lower portion onto the hinge, then press straight up to fully seat the cover
-
Install RH shock tower cover
Note3x push clips
-
Install RH hood hinge cover
Note2x clips,1x dowel hole, Install the lower portion onto the hinge, then press straight up to fully seat the cover

Install clip securing washer hose to cowl screen
Note1x clip

Install clip securing harness to cowl screen
Note1x clip

Connect main washer hose
Note1x clip

Install RH wiper arm and hose assembly onto vehicle
-
Install nut securing RH wiper arm to wiper module
Note1x nut, 15mm, 25 Nm, Make sure the wiper tip is aligned between the two indicators at corner of windshield
-
Secure RH wiper arm washer nozzle
Note1x hose, Hose is routed below the arm
-
Install RH wiper arm nut cover
Note1x cover
-
Install LH wiper arm and hose assembly onto vehicle
-
Install nut securing LH wiper arm to wiper module
Note1x nut, 15mm, 25 Nm, Make sure the wiper tip is aligned between the two indicators at corner of windshield
-
Secure LH wiper arm washer nozzle
Note1x hose, Hose is routed below the arm
-
Install LH wiper arm nut cover
Note1x cover
-
Install fresh air intake assembly
Note2x studs, Lift cowl as needed
-
Position frunk assembly to vehicle
Note8x clips, 3x locator pins, Ensure clips are aligned at thermal beam, Replace any clips if broken or missing
-
Install bolts securing frunk assembly
Note4x bolts, 10mm, 5 Nm, Number of bolts may vary depending on build date
-
Install access panel to frunk assembly
Note3x clips, 1x connector, Frunk safety switch, 3x guide tabs, Align 3x tabs then push forward to secure clips
-
Install fresh air gutter assembly
Note3x clips
-
Unfold RH front main cabin carpet back to original position
Note1x locator clip
-
Install RH IP air wave duct to HVAC module
-
Install clips securing RH IP air wave duct
Note2x push clips
-
Connect thermistor connector RH IP air wave duct
Note1x connector
-
Install RH passenger footwell duct to HVAC module
-
Position glove box assembly
Note2x connectors
-
Install glove box into IP assembly
Note10x clips, 3x locator pin, 1x datum, If necessary, Replace any clips that are broken
-
Install screws securing glove box assembly to IP assembly
Note4x screws, T20, 2.3 Nm
-
Connect glove box USB cable to car computer
Note1x connector, Engage locking tab
-
Install clips securing passenger footwell duct
Note2x push clips, Ensure that the footwell duct is installed in place
-
Install RH IP end cap
Note5x clips, 2x guide tabs
-
lnstall seat lower section of RH front primary seal
NoteVerify seal is seated properly on all trim panels
-
Install RH knee air bag assembly
Note1x air bag connector, 1x connector, Ensure airbag connector is fully engaged, Place plastic film back over squib assembly

Install RH knee airbag bolts
Note4x bolts, EP10, 8.5 Nm, use socket wrench to start hardware by hand to avoid cross threading. Avoid Over tightening Hardware during installation avoid using power tools

Install RH knee air bag bolt covers
Note2x covers

Install RH footwell cover
Note2x magnets, 1x guide tab, 1x connector
-
Connect first responder loop and LV battery
Note2x connectors, Secure FRL first, Seat LV battery connection and push black connector lock inwards to secure, Engage green locking tab when fully seated
-
Install rear apron
Note14x clips, Hold rear wall of frunk to keep from flexing while engaging front clips
-
Close hood
-
Move RH front seat to original position
-
Raise RH front window
-
Close RH front door
-
Verify operation of windshield washers and wipers
-
Clear DAS Calibration through UI
NoteControls > Service > Camera Calibration, Select Clear Calibration, Verify calibration was cleared successfully, Wait for prompt to disappear automatically before continuing, Calibration in Progress message and progress icon will appear during the next drive cycle

Raise LH front window
-
Close LH front door
-
Remove lift arms from below vehicle
NoteLower rack arms fully and remove them from under vehicle
- Vehicle will need to be driven by customer to complete calibration procedure. During this time DAS functions will be completely unavailable
