Harness - Busbar - 12V DCDC (Remove and Replace)

Torque Specifications

Replace

Remove

  1. Remove the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
  2. Disconnect LV power. See LV Battery - Li-lon (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  3. Remove the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  4. Remove the bolt that attaches the DCDC ground busbar to the body.

    Use of the following tool(s) is recommended:
    • 12 mm socket
  5. Remove and discard the nut that attaches the DCDC ground busbar to the HV battery, and then remove the DCDC ground busbar from the vehicle.

Install

  1. Position the DCDC ground busbar onto the vehicle.
  2. Install the bolt that attaches the DCDC ground busbar to the body.
    20 Nm (14.7 lbs-ft)

  3. Install the nut that attaches the DCDC ground busbar to the HV battery.
    9 Nm (6.6 lbs-ft)

  4. Install the 2nd row lower seat cushion. See Seat Cushion - 2nd Row (Remove and Replace).
  5. Connect LV power. See LV Battery - Li-lon (Disconnect and Connect) (Modify).
  6. Install the rear underhood apron. See Underhood Apron - Rear (Remove and Replace).
