Remove
- Remove the lower gap hider. See Gap Hider - Lower - Steering Column (Model 3 Standard) (Remove and Replace).
- 
          Remove the bolt that secures the upper
            gap hider to the steering column.
          TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T25 socket
 
- 
          Remove the upper gap hider from the
            steering column.
          NoteRelease the clips (x8) then partially fold and rotate the gap hider to remove it.
Install
- 
          Install the steering column upper gap
            hider to vehicle
          NoteRelease the clips (x8) then partially fold and rotate the gap hider to install it.
- 
          Install the bolt that secures the
            upper gap hider to the steering column.
          TIpUse of the following tool(s) is recommended:- Torx T25 socket
  1.2 Nm (.9 lbs-ft) 1.2 Nm (.9 lbs-ft)
- Install the lower gap hider. See Gap Hider - Lower - Steering Column (Model 3 Standard) (Remove and Replace).
